  • can you teach me how to play the acoustic ?

  • great song i havnt heard the original but this sounded awesome, looks like you have an unfinished basement

  • does this guitar sound good unplugged?

    is it good for fingerstyle?

  • @tyang9099

The guitar sounds pretty good unplugged but lacks the full deep sound of a Martin D-28.

I do like it for finger style. It's one of the guitars I used in "Hello In There" here on youtube..

  • Your guitare got a really nice sound , I am thinking of buying the same one ovation 1861 isn't it******

  • @wizhack

The guitar is a made in USA 1996 Ovation model 1861. I have not played any of the newer LX models.

  • Nicely done!

  • nice jobs

  • great job ive been looking for this version

  • Great job on the cover man but it's just something about Toy Caldwell's steel guitar playing on this song that does it for me.

  • great cover been awhile!!!

  • my uncles play this all the time for me i am learning it better, but i play it with my dad, till a few months ago i only ever sang it.

  • awesome job, i love this song, and this was really well done. 5 stars

  • awesome i got ovie 2.great jam

  • great job!!! and nice ovation i got one just like it.

  • that comment should have been Norman Blake

  • reminds me of Tony Blake

  • i loved this well done made my day :)

  • Great, I love this song and you do a great job with it. Have you ever done Sea of Heartbreak?

  • If you like this cover and are also an "Eric clapton" fan, check out his cover of "Wonderful tonight". I think you'll be glad you did. I was.

  • This is the third song I'm listening from your covers and like the others:excellent!

  • the best cover i've heard

  • Cool dude, like it or not this aussie boy (downunder)got to shadow 'jam' on your youtube jig.

    Thanks

  • man great song and cover!

  • very nice cover , i believe is the best one i ever heard...beautiful voice..peace for all..

  • What is the cords??

  • You don't really have to have all the right chords to cover a southern rock song.

Check out my band's version of "Sweet Home Alabama" (at my youtube page) for a demostration. We aren't as good as this guy but we do pretty good considering we rarely play the correct chords, unless by accident.

  • Nice job, pretty guitar. I enjoyed jamming with you on this one. Just saw Tucker last weekend in Verona NY and was searching for some classic video and found you. Thanks.

  • Cool!

  • Great Job. Is that your music room or a studio?

  • It's the part of the house my wife let's me claim, the unfinished part of the basement. I call it my music room.

  • Looks like it.

  • I'll take that as a compliment..

  • It is, I'm jealous. :-)

  • at least she knows where you're at and what you're doing, lol. nice cover.

  • Nice sounds like my wife she gave me a room I could use so I wouldn't sit in the living room and jam lol.....the part of the song (Shot down in cold blood by a gun that carried fame) are they talking about a famous gunslinger or did it just sound good and fit the song.....Great playing to I really enjoyed it

  • Great job pardner...Very inspiring! Keep goin'!!

  • very done. great voice. great song. Luv and Peace. One Love!
