@XmetallicXveinsX he does the lowest octave live. He does the double recording because just about every screaming vocalist does it, except for the death metal/black metal singers. A CD is all about effect and making something that people love to listen to and to pick apart the melodies. Seeing a band live is about the experience and enjoying the music live...not about if he is growling/screaming/singing all for one line

This song is calling out the radical religions such as the Islamic religion. Just look at the other songs they have made that prove they're christian. This Darkened Heart, For Salvation, The Weak Willed, Not Alone, and (I think) Before the Damned. All of these songs are great songs and are obviously talking about the Man upstairs...

This song talks about it in the chorus "This darkened heart betrays what I've always held so dear".
In For Salvation (my fav <3) this is the first verse "wallow in darkness
and ever lasting pain" What do you think that's referring to? being in an emo darkness that covers your whole life and makes you cut yourself? no it' referring to humans wandering in a world without knowing the truth which leads to everlasting pain. Jesus is supposed to enlighten us. "now pride is our enemy
for salvation this we must believe" That explains itself...
