@runnersdialzero333 He was doing those things because he broke under the pressure of doing everything, writing, producing, etc. If I were a family member I would have helped him get therapy but let him decide for himself whether he wanted to perform or not. He wanted out of the buisiness completely. THEY wanted him back making hits so they could make money, which they spent like water.

He new has a new wife, and a new band and doesn't have to cowtow to MIke Love. Meanwhile, Love exploits the BB name with a terrible band.

The Beach Boys' Love You is one of the most underrated Beach Boys albums. I think it's one of their best. God bless Brian Wilson.
