Good video! Have you tried to grow turmeric tubers as well? It is a tuber and relative of ginger, and grows okay in Sydney. Apparently the tubers can be bought fresh from certain Asian greengrocers. Are you growing your own lemongrass, too? It used to be growing in the Sydney Botanical Gardens herbarium, so it can stand cold Sydney weather. And your Buderim is so nice and warm! Lemongrass cuttings from the supermarket will sprout roots if left in a glass of water for a week or so. ♫ ♫
@zuditaka Hi Georges, thanks for that, I haven't grown turmeric yet, maybe next year, I got ginger & galangal in. I see you found my lemongrass galangal tea video, so that answers that question. I've only just discovered what to do with it the last couple of years. I had it growing for a few years prior to that, not knowing what to do with it. Even now I think I've only just scratched the surface. It grows fantastic here. anyway take care mate, bye
Gday Geoff wow looks great i grew some galangul, and some tumeric ,to which both i was not happy it was way to bland for my liking i love ginger . any chance of your chili sauce recipe please ,Cheers Rob ps have you tryed airated organic tea for your vegis
@bigcroc69 Hi there Rob. I got some galangal in this year as well as ginger. I've tried galangal in my Thai soup, it all tastes nice. I don't know how to compare it. I have a couple of chili sauce uploads with the recipes. I'm due to make some more myself. I'm just using straight chili with vinegar for the mean time. I haven't heard of or tried airated organic tea for my veges. We've had that much rain the soil would be well leached out by now. It's raining as I'm typing. Well, takecareRob,cheers
@theracemixer Thank you trm. Good to get your comment so soon. I have a full belly from the seafood spring rolls we made & uploaded tonight. We've been busy this afternoon & this evening. Thanks again. cheers.
