I'm a girl, and long hair on men is a "lion's mane" kind of thing for me. Which means that the longer your hair is, the more badass you look, and that way also more hot. Beauty ideals change for men too, but I still have my own taste.

I really don't understand what's "gay" in long hair. Hair length has nothing to do with orientation whatsoever. Also, in my personal experience I barely know or have seen any gays that don't bother keeping their hair short. But that's just me.

I love long hair! Even though my hair is like half an inch past my sholders in the front and just barely any space between my hair and the shirt collar. My hair is still in the "akward stage" as im growing my hair out to 2 inches past my chest (12 inches) I may end up going just a little bit longer tho

Someone made a good point that "if hair were meant to be cut short, it would stop when it grew short". As for me, I've grown mine for about a year and a half or so, and recently thought of trying a ponytail in fact but don't know how to do one lol

@deej1011 yea I hate that hair in the mouth stuff but all ya need is a hair tie. I pull mine back all the time when eating, driving etc. The worst was waiting for the bangs to get long enough to pull back as once I drunkenly set it on fire once. Then I had half of a Mullet and that sucked. I play rock n roll for a living and work as a stage hand,I don't have to cut my hair. If you get in a fight you do have to watch people grabbing it though.

@DeeDank well, when it's first getting long there's a very unfortunate stage it goes through I refer to as the Flippy stage. As soon as your hair has enough weight it will then lay down on your back. It's just about 3 months there where it wont lay. I don't understand cause I grew up in the 80's and 90's and have always had long hair but now everyone has this extremely short hair,I look stupid with short hair but now people look at me like I'm some throw back to the 60's.

Eastern Orthodox Christianity and Sikhism encourage long hair on men. Don't say religions necessarily dictate short hair on men.

Long men are superior to bald men and bald men are just inferior. I just want to correct you on something, Christianity and even Ssikhism don't have any kind of rule about hair, only facial hair for Siks, but Christianity leans more towards short hair on guys. Who cares what people think, my son has amazing nearly waist length hair, he is six foot four nearly, he also has a huge beard, he gets a lot of negative attention from stupid shallow minded people.
