Why carry concealed if all knows you carry. We are law abiding not convicts. The one guest that keeps going on about the first amendment needs to get a clue.
The solution to this is to establish national concealed carry like Vermont and Alaska where no permit is required to carry a gun. That seems to me to be consistent with "shall not be infringed".
information the public should be able to have? well, they can goto the court house (or whereever) and find it if they want it. but for a newspaper to blatently outright print and put it up on the website is sooo incredibly stupid.
i feel bad for the ones that are now having issues with security. hope nothing bad happens to them.
The twit who doesn't think the paper wasn't at fault is forgetting one important point:
The Roanoke Times ABUSED its 1st Amendment right by putting this info out in the open. This is info that risks the safety of the public, yet they did it anyways either through lack of foresight or because they have such an anti-gun slant that they refused to perceive the danger.
The paper should take responsibility for its actions.
It's a damned shame that some people believe that the first ammendment, which only applies to the press, outweighs the safety of our citizens. The only thing that was exposed here was personal information on law abiding citizens, Wake up Roanoke Times, the criminals don't have a license to carry concealed weapons, they're criminals.
If the Roanoake Times can publish the names and addresses of license holders, then I should be able to publish video from the bedrooms of the Times' publishers.
<sarcasm> I think that people who have sex for pleasure are perverts, and are a threat to my family. Therefore, I have a right to know where they live. I want to tap into defenderofliberty's live bedroom feeds to make sure my neighbors aren't being perverts. I also think I should have access to their bank statements to make sure they haven't bought any condoms.

The first amendment does not guarantee that right to newspapers if they are going to be dumber than a box of rocks.

What the FUCK!? Why have a CONCEALED handgun license if it's public. You might as well NOT CONCEAL IT! That's so incredibly stupid.
