Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Suspension Problem

Yeah, I'm going with hit a curb at speed. Audi's lower control arms are forged aluminum... which is actually pretty tough. The ball joints are kinda undersized, and tend to fail. When they fail, they make groaning, noises, clunking and allow slop, but they don't shear off like that.

I have to call bullshit on this one.

There you go! Teach the idiot that drives it to SLOW DOWN for speed humps and to stop ramming it up the pavement as he (but probably a she) parks. That would have been spotted at the MOT as worn, so that one is down to careless driving and driving without any regard to safety! A very odd video to show.

I bet this car wasn't serviced by an Audi dealer, if it had, it would have been subject to the recall that they carried out that affected these arms !

@envance It has been rammed over speed humps and up the pavement when parking. It's a common problem as idiots usually drive AUDI cars. I see loads of them like this depending on the area someone lives. It's mainly women!!!!

And how. I've seen interesting suspension problems myself, like an A2 Golf driven into the shop with a wheel tilted at an angle - excessively worn wheel bearing.

It was pretty shocking..the owner was very, very lucky that it happened whilst he was travelling at a slow speed.
