im only 15, i play alot of ACDC because i dont have great equpiment like pedals Wah and so on.. i play an Epiphone SG G400 and use a Marshall would i be able to play this?

@CarlG0932 you probaly could but the sound would not come out to close to the actual song. I'd suggest getting an RP255 its a great starting multi effects unit (It's what I have) and I've gotten really close to the U2's Boston 2001 Live Version if not the same. I'm currently saving up for a POD HD500, if you have the money I'd tell you to get one of those bad boys!

@Beatlemad1000 Depends on the pick-ups and the build quality etc...I expect things to be challenging at £89.  Also a good amp helps! A 70's Strat is superb for many reasons.

@RyoFCSaeba I could have cranked up the amp more and use a heavier distortion/OD for this one. I still prefer the Strat over the LP for this one though.

@u2john316 Yes, but the sound is a little "poor".... The humbucker, i think, give much more "power" :) Infact Edge in the studio version use a LP Custom

@RyoFCSaeba He also uses a Strat live for this one (during ZooTV and 360 tour). Like I said, cranking up my amp and adding a heavier OD would do the trick. I agree the LP is a nice one to use too but I prefer the Strat for this song.
