This phone sucks, don't buy it. I bought it a year ago, and he already buggs. ;( The firmware sucks and the battery life.... I can't even manage to 12 hours without charging him!
I've had this phone for about a month and a half and even though I like the features on the phone I wouldn't buy it again if I had to decide again.The main reason is the battery life, it 's ridiculous how fast it dies! You have to charge it whenever possible because it won't last the whole day and I'm not exaggerating. Often I don't have my phone on me because I didn't charge it the night before :/ so I would not recommend this phone and I would look into a phone that has decent battery life.
hm. I'm on AT&T and I got the HP Veer, but it's a buggy mess and it kinda sucks with volume on the speaker, and teh camera blows. Would it be better to return the veer and get the pre plus on AT&T?
@Konnerific TBH, I would go with something else unless you REALLY want a Palm OS phone. They are nice but HP gave up on the OS and atm not really sure what updates you will or will not get.

Former Iphone 3G customer here. I dropped it the minute the Pre Plus became available. The fact that I could multi task and didn't have to deal with AT&T's crappy service anymore...PRICELESS.
Bottom line the Pre Plus has been the best phone I've ever had, and Verizon's service has never given me any issues.
I find it mind blowing how this phone didn't sell millions of units. It has the best form factor, great keyboard, fantastic (if not the best operating system "Web OS"), and great price.
@katteelovesmusicc Pre Plus has been the best phone I've ever owned. I have had it one year now and it is great. HP/Palm is just weeks away from announcing new hardware and revealing Web OS 2.1. If I were you I would wait to see what they are revealing and get one of those new phones. I know several phones are going to be announced, as well as a PalmPad/TouchPad device, and other things. You will love WebOS. It's fantastic.
@adamw3893 I have the phone, and I believe it has been discontinued. But the battery life is horrible. I cant go more than one day at a time without charging it. Also, it has facebook which is cool but you need to pay a lot more a month to get that and it doesnt come without it.

@lecie03 quite honestly, he difference in megapixels will not make a difference unless you want to print big (like 16x20) prints of your pictures. Otherwise, it is preference. I would prefer the pre, since its multi-task capability is so great. Best of luck.
the call quality is actually really clear..the battery life is my concern. thats only if ur using all the nice apps on it lol..other than that, pretty good phone!

I need help. I own this phone and I ripped some cd's on to my pc. Then I dragged and dropped them into a music folder I created, but none of the songs show up in my nusic player on the phone. But when I load mp3 files onto it they show up. On palms website it says it supports wav. audio format which is what cd's are. Why wont they show up if its supported?
this is the only phone that i love to hate. im still using this for 4 months and i am still struggling to like it. I upgraded from older phone sony w760i. This phone design is very poor, here's why: 1.) Your ear will easily hit the disconnect button on the screen. 2.) Every function involves 2 or 3 more steps to get it working. 3.) very poor battery life. 4.) Music design player is a joke and very hard to organize your files. 5.) Was a big fan of Palm, was using Treo650, I really the Pre & Pixi, they are small 2 carry, but not marketed in Asia, when I wrote to local Palm office, there was a response of "we dont know when this will be launched" response, and was waiting for the local Telco's to give the news, no news, so, my Treo 650 after 6 years of use, finally gave up on the telephone part, the other side hear rining, but there is nothing in my screen, with hard heart I switched to iPhone3Gs - it really changed my life

The Palm Pre 2 has been out for Verizon for a while, and has been discontinued too.
you probably cannot get either one at the Verizon store, although it should be easy finding one on eBay or Amazon.

the call quality is actually really clear..the battery life is my concern. thats only if ur using all the nice apps on it lol..other than that, pretty good phone!

y is it that people complain about webOS or android not changing a year later but iphone shit was dated when it came out and people praise it... its annoying!! webOS is hands down a great UI. may not have the apps of android or iphone but ther r there and not a crap load of the same things

DOOO NOT GET THE PALM PREE!!!!!!!! I got it when it came out and iv gone through 3 batteries it freezes all the time and the touch screen randomly stops working the navigation looses signal alll the time and the apps suckkk palm is super unreliable

I need help. I own this phone and I ripped some cd's on to my pc. Then I dragged and dropped them into a music folder I created, but none of the songs show up in my nusic player on the phone. But when I load mp3 files onto it they show up. On palms website it says it supports wav. audio format which is what cd's are. Why wont they show up if its supported?

this is the only phone that i love to hate. im still using this for 4 months and i am still struggling to like it. I upgraded from older phone sony w760i. This phone design is very poor, here's why: 1.) Your ear will easily hit the disconnect button on the screen. 2.) Every function involves 2 or 3 more steps to get it working. 3.) very poor battery life. 4.) Music design player is a joke and very hard to organize your files. 5.) Bluetooth cant send/receive files from other devices. I hate it.

Was a big fan of Palm, was using Treo650, I really the Pre & Pixi, they are small 2 carry, but not marketed in Asia, when I wrote to local Palm office, there was a response of "we dont know when this will be launched" response, and was waiting for the local Telco's to give the news, no news, so, my Treo 650 after 6 years of use, finally gave up on the telephone part, the other side hear rining, but there is nothing in my screen, with hard heart I switched to iPhone3Gs - it really changed my life

@HORSEcabbage9048 i have the palm pre plus it is an amazing phone maybe not as fast as the iphone when it comes to the internet but it is an amazing phone the multi tasking is crazy good and no matter what anyone says the touchscreen is very good
