Looks like he's playing QB to me and has been for the past 4 years now. Stew just didn't let him run the ball enough this season. He said that he was trying to keep him from getting hurt. Pat plays his best by reacting not standing in the pocket going over reads waiting to get tackled. They took away what he does best. Pat is and always will be the best player that i've ever seen at WVU and that QB rushing record will be his for a long long time.
WVU has one of the best defenses in the country. What are you talking about lol? They only gave up 54 points in the second half all season. It's not the defense, it's the play calling. Pat White can do it all! Coaching is why WVU lost 4 games this year. Took out the zone read offense and lead blocking at the FB spot. WVU is a running team, they always have been. From 300 yards a game rushing to 150 - Owen Schmitt + dumb coaching = 4 losses. It's that simple...
dumb question, anyone know the name of the song they play before kickoff? not just WVU but most college/universities right now? it's that "a oh a oh oh" song. Thanks in advance, GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!

Wow he threw the ball against Villanova, are we gonna see some highlights of him playing a high school team next? By the way, where's his highlights from the rest of the season. He really is just an undersized running back. Calling him a QB is an insult to the position.
What a hoe answer. Don't blame Pat for WVU struggles he's been on point as he's always been. Avergeing 200 yards and 2 tds a game passing along with 68 yards and a td rushing.
Pat can't drag WVU to the win on his own everygame. But damn if he hasn't tried.
I don't blame him, he's doing his best. It's Stewart's fault for asking him to do things he isn't capable of doing, as I've maintained from the beginning. Pat White is an excellent QB in the spread option, Bill Stewart is the one stupid enough to think that he can run a run and shoot with White. It's the defense, a massively underachieving offensive line, and a horrendously bad head coach sinking WVU right now.
