@MacemanDerek You could have also downloaded a torrent of Fraps(It records only programs, mostly games) from Thepiratebay(dot)org or some other torrent site.

Yes, I used a purchased Camtasia Studio 5 as well, and had a lot of trouble with it! Oh well.
