i'm 5ft 3 19 year old female who weighs 9st 11. i've been trying to loose weight for a while now and have been on a strict diet which only include salad and water. i've been exercising at the gym none stop and haven't lost weight. please help
Synthetic sugar is the enemy. It's addictive and it's the most fattening thing on the planet. It's pretty much delicious poison. It's not hard to have a good diet. Don't eat junk food or candy and try to eat organic as much as possible.
I have been reading around on this topic and some bloggs are just confusing and contradict themselves, you are very straight forward and easy to understand! Thank you very much!
I've been eating fast food regularly for years (at least once a month) so will I be able to lose the huge amount of trans fats stored in my body? as you said they are toxins and my body doesn't recognize them like natural fats... so what can I do to force my body to get rid of trans fat under my skin?

I just read the Great Cholesterol Con and Trick and Treat and I was SHOCKED at how much stuff we are taught in school or governmental flyers that is absolute BS...I have a new appreciation for those conspiracy theorists :(
I'm not sold on the idea that increased saturated fat will not cause heart disease. Back in the 60's my father ate steak, eggs every day and full fat milk. He had a double bypass when he was 60. :o(
No fat does not make you fat. Look at Sean Croxton. He eats nothing but saturated fat and yet he is very lean. Fat releases bile which does not store fat. Carbs/sugar spike up your insulin which does store fat.
It will if you get it from bad sources such as grain fed (commerical) beef instead of grass-fed beef, eggs from conventionally raised chickens and not free-range or cage free organic ones, and of course, fast food. If you had of gotten the fat from grass fed beef, organic free range eggs, and extra virgin coconut oil, I can guarantee you that your cholesterol will not change a bit. So, when Sean tells us to eat more saturated fat, he means that we get them from good sources.
Also, if a plant-based diet works for you, then that's great. Everyone's different. However, let it be known that no source of food provides more high quality, complete protein then meat, and that is a fact. Red meat has all 20 amino acids, whereas no plant in existense has that many.
Great video! I LOVE raw organic walnut butter! I eat it with celery or an apple nearly every afternoon as my snack. Yum! Artisana makes one that's really tasty- I realized it's blended with cashews which is probably for texture. I may try making my own walnut butter soon :)
Why do the bad fats make you fat? Isn't it just a question of calories in, calories out?

Does fat make you fat?
Yes, that's why they call it "fat".

@jreily88 : Saturated fat will cause your LDL to increase. It did in my case so I went to a more plant-based Asian type diet.

@jreily88 : I eat meat, chicken, pork and fish. I just don't eat them in large quantities. I won't touch soy with a 20" pole!

@jreily88 Hemp seeds contain all known amino acids.

Just look at candy. It has no fat whatsoever, but it does make you fat.
