What he said about the 3 stage vacuum motor is true, there are other factors but who wants to sound like a lawyer-adding paragraphs of data that most people wouldn't understand?
Every factory simply measures the CFM and/or static lift of the two vacuum motors together, the fact that operating them in tandem using a manifold -vs- operating them separately isn't essential.
This is nonsense. There are 3-stage vacs that are more powerful than those in there. You can't have maximum vacuum and a heater in a portable. These are relatively low powered 3-stage vacs, which this guy should know, because Mytee uses better ones in the M5 (148" lift, 115 cfm).
The CFM rated by this guy is also wrong. He's simply adding the CFM of each vac to each other, which is not how things work. There's always some loss.
