Please check out the two other videos in this collection for a couple different ways of casting off/binding off this stitch. I hope you find them informative! They are a quite a bit longer than this video since they are demonstrating more complex concepts.

If you visit the Authentic Knitting Board they have a PDF of exactly how the stitch is started. If you visit my blog I also have the instructions in the Holiday Purse pattern.

So what then? How do you lift off the completed stitches to create length? How is turned into a purse?? This just doesn't make sense.
