I remember this, this was fun and challenging at the same time. Sure the CO was yelling a little bit, actually not that bad, but it takes team work to complete this course, which made it the best course in my opinion besides weapon training. I am not a huge fan of running in the morning, but now I am a lot better at it!

@supaman204 In the Army it all depends on where you go, if you're infantry you go to Ft Benning which is a lot harder. A few lucky non-combat MOS go there too. Marines are tougher, but if you can get through any of the other branches boot camp, you can make it through USMC boot camp.

Also the Army wants to make basic training look easier to get more recruits, why do you think the Army's drop out rate is higher? That's why.

Military training is like going to college focusing on life threatening subjects. You get over $100,000 dollars of free training in the field of infantry, leadership and a healthy body. You may not get a lot of money serving over seas because they already spent money on you training on surviving war. That kind of training will give you a job resume on things like teaching boy scouts, self-defense, and surviving an apocalypse. Your won't be calling 911 all the time as much as a regular civilian.
