I remember when this happend. I got family in Thailand and when i went back to school after christmas people were asking if my family got affected by the tsunami =/

luckily their based in Bangkok.

But i prayed for those who lost their lives.

there are still volunteer pathologists, dentists and numerous forensic scientists working to try to identify and repatriate victims of this disaster. I have attended lectures by some of the team members and they are a dedicated group who work tirelessly and in extremely difficult conditions to give peace to families who have lost their loved ones.

An entire family my parents knew died in the that tsunami.

A coworkers daughters entire family was also killed there as well.

A childhood friend of mine was there with his family. He was down at the beach when the waves struck. In the first wave he managed to get up on a truck heading away from the beach. The truck was hit but not badly. He then managed to climb a partly collapsed wall when the other wave struck. The rest of his family was inland at the time.
