This serial had such a stunning effect on me, this winter i was living abit non-clannad like(so no anime, manga or shorts on youtube)i was feeling like a new wallpaper, i thought about something warm, so i googled "Clannad Okazaki Family", i was watching one second at the pictures, my body shivered up and a bright light teary smile appeared on my face... one day when my kids are small i will tell them every night one chapter/episode of Clannad, to make them feel just like i feel... safe

Someone please help me... how do I get the After Story of the Visual Novel? Do I have to unlock it or something along those lines, or do I have to download it from somewhere!? Because on the Nagisa route, it ended with Tomoyo and Nagisa walking together as Nagisa said that she'd work hard when she repeats her third year, but then the credits came and it ended. Someone please help me out here, cause I really want to continue reading it after that. =/

i watched Clannad and Clannad after story,and i have to say, the first seasson (Clannad) it's not that good, not bad, just ok, and the second seasson (after story) is really good, but of course you'll have to watch both of them, all in all a really good anime, it's damm sad, and kinda makes you wonder if you're really enjoying your life as you should be

I haven't shed a tear since I was in second grade, I saw this anime last year, and I broke that streak.

You know, in harem anime, the worst thing is usually the main character.

Because in harem settings, all girls tend to love only 1 guy, because of this, the common thing is that the lead is inactive boring and just waits for good things to come.

He might have the trait of a "nice guy" but that still doesnt make him interesting.

In Clannad however, nobody can say Tomoya is uninteresting. It's always fun to see him do pranks and look at his life as a whole.

In the end, I really like him :)

I thought it was a nice and useful thing to do for people who could not read it. the opening shows up right after nagisa talks tomoya about the story of illusion world and the girl on there.

it's because nagisa and nagisa's episode are mainly described and it relates to orbs that are also relates to illusion world.

Maeda also wanted clannad made something different with other his works on KEY. normally, the opening comes to the beginning, but he decided to put it on the middle of nagisa's episode.

@RikaHinamori I had watched it all the way through, with only a stomach ache. Though the second time through, I cried at the scene when Nagisa died. That's saying a lot, considering I'm a guy who's only cried a few times in my life (emotional cries, not physical, of course). Well, no tears came out, but that's just 'cause I was trying my best to hold them back. I had that feeling in my throat. I don't want my brothers seeing me cry, 'cause then they'll start being ass nuggets all over me.
