I am sorry but I did not bust my ass in medical school just to go VOLUNTEER in a third world country. My ultimate goal of being a vascular surgeon will not be furthered by spending 2 years in a thatch hut.
@joeymetts13 Nah, learning Wolof was very easy, and quite fun. It's a simple language. Peace Corps. language training is excellent. I wouldn't be scared of it. They prepare you.

im gonna join peace corps...though thats years from now since im too young.
Though my friend Laura has just started college and she said she' is gonna be peace corps for about two years when she finishes.
