Two thoughts come to mind for me after watching this. The first is that Noire Clone and Original Craig are completely different people, and someone along the road after becoming Craig with a Wig, Noire Clone has to or did go back in time to be Craig with a Wig in all of Original Craig's old videos. The second is that Noire Clone and Original Craig are the same person, hence Original Craig knowing where his clock was. But other than the clock, I have no basis to support the second theory.

Detective Clone became Craig with a Wig to avoid being sent to the alligator pit. Real Craig believed it was really Craig with a Wig because he doesn't know that he is really Craig with a Wig, subconsciously. So now the mystery technically is un-concluded but somewhat solved (if the chair is in fact the cause). Sweet trilogy though, loved it!

One reason could be that the clone traveled to a time when he was making a video, and he had to do his own Craig with a Wig segment as well, and that Craig never was Craig with a Wig.

I think that Craig with a Wig was always Noir Clone, just convincing himself that he was, when he really was. As for why Craig became Craig with a Wig once - well, Noir Clone noticed that it was the day that he would come back and see, so he somehow convinced Craig that he was actually only pretending to be Craig with a wig, and for that one video Craig was Craig with a wig, but then Craig went back. He probably did some time travel for this.

Him witnessing Craig be Craig w/a wig was his own imagination, and the only possible explanation for why nobody had actually seen him, besides him actually BEING him. Only after Craig confronts him does he realize that all his aspirations and theories were illusory.
