The technical side of the transcription is quite good. I don't now how you sound now being as this was recorded a while ago, but to me the sound is the most important thing. I would rather listen to someone with a great sound hack all over changes rather than someone nail the changes with a bad sound. Keep workin tho, I just did this transcription myself....its a tough one!
i'm guessing you're talkin about the E's and F#'s. they are naturally sharp on that cannonball horn. i bring them down, but it never eneded up quite right.
i was tuned to the stage piano, not the keyboard and bass. if you look, the rest of my recital is on my profile. no problems there. i did notice that during the playing, but that horn has alot of problems. it's not mine. don't own an alto yet. just tenor and suprano. thanks for tha critique though. wish i had the Beechler that i have now back then. could have been even better!
oh and the transcription is to tha t, except for one lick, and the rhythem section skippin a part at the end. they went to tha coda early. i just went with it! LOL
Hey Rory!!! You are on the same search as Gerald Albright!!!!!! For those of you who don't know..Rory is the TUBA section leader in the marching band!!!

actually, you seemed to be very flat over all.. except for the altissimo register.
did you purposely tune your sax flat so that the E's and F#'s would be in tune?
sorry, I'm a little confused here... ;)
