  • best lyrics ever.

  • This is a song about legolas. Calling it.

  • this song is so sad

  • ahhhh so relaxing...my mind is at ease.

  • I think this is about Catherine Of Aragon.

  • The song isn't about Anne Boleyn, it's about Catherine Howard. x.x

One of my favorite EA songs by far! <3

  • @zeldamaddie It could be about Anne Boleyn or Catherine Howard. Both of them were related, first cousins even. Both of them were pushed by their families to catch and keep the eye of King Henry and both had a younger man they had wanted to be with. Granted only Catherine Howard truly committed adultery, but both were accuse and how should we ever really know unless we went back ourselves to witness the events?

  • @zeldamaddie I think it's Anne Boleyn, though, because she is the only one between the two who had children.

  • she has disappeared

  • Utterly Enchanting.

  • Fuck, I cant wait ! She's touring in Europe on 2012, I CANT FUCKIN WAIT!!! I am so going there :D

  • There is a naked lady on the side in an add >->

  • I love how she makes serious things seem humorous, my favorite Queen is Lady Jane Gray. She was only queen for nine days before she was beheaded.

  • I cry every time I listen to this song. I love it sooo much.

  • Comment removed

  • @soccerballgoalie2 cry? why that?

  • i love this song!!! love the history of henery viii. and this song is just...wow she has an amazing voice :) probably how his wives thought about him a bit.

  • Beautiful..

    thanks for upload

  • Emilie Autumn <3 <3 <3

  • I LOVE Emilie Autumn!

She's awesome. And dont hate on her.

Best line ever!! :Then I break a glass and I slit my own innermost thigh

So that I can pretend that I'm menstru...well, unavailable

    xD

  • This song is actually so clever.

    I love it!!!

  • @MichealSt What was all about? =@ can you explain me please? Who are the zombie dolls?

  • @FluorBen It's the band she was in, they didn't do much. Never became popular, she left, changed her name, and stole the music.

  • @MichealSt Proof or it didn't happen.

  • @Sputnikvi Talk to a guy on here called KillerQween he's Mr.Nightmare.

  • Emilie autumn or should I say love doll Hanna or were you doll face Anna? Zombie dolls was the old band but you left to become Emilie autumn and stole Mr.nightmare of the zombie dolls music you changed some thing in all of the songs but the art of suicide was left undisturbed. I can not forgive what you did to the original music but I will continue listening to what changes you have made even if your music is stolen.

  • @MichealSt um.....what??

  • @MichealSt wtf? e-e

  • this song is about my mom, im suing

  • wow she is so creative and how she turns words in such beautiful melodies. i live her voice i swear i listen to this song at least 10 times a day

  • the girl there looks like betty boop ^^

  • i luv her she has a wonderful voice ty for putting this blog up!!!

  • go girl Catherine, that king must have been a dirty bear

marrying women as if they're new pairs of shoes.

  • This song is about Henry VIII's fifth wife Catherine Howard. Catherine was divorced but beheaded almost two years after because she ACTUALLY committed adulterous acts while married to the king. Even before that too!

  • Love this song. Her voice is beautiful.

  • oh wow such a pretty voice its lovely lol

  • lovely 2nd place

  • I envy her voice so much, it's very beautiful.

I would die just to have it.

  • beautiful I would kill to get her voice :D

  • @FattenedPuppies

hmm... I'm not exactly sure why your comment got so many thumbs down, disney movies rule. Although with Emilie, I would place her in a role of a beautiful female villain rather than the princess. Like the human ursula or something.

  • Lol! that comment was AGES ago! before I started listening to her (This was the first song of hers I heard!)

But now that I've heard more of her, I agree! She'd be more of a beautiful villain! but I don't think Disney movies do that!

    Thanks for the support though!

  • NICE!!! I LUV THIS SONG but i also think its sad but still grate!!!! :P

  • Beyond perfectus!

  • Great song! Luv it.

  • Kinda freaky. Hahaha! So cool

  • do you have a link to the picture you used?

I stumbled on this accidentally, her voice is really beautiful, and in my own little way I can relate to the song. hah.

  • i love the shrillness of her singing.

  • This is such a sad song...

I don't know why it sounds so nice, while it's actually ironic...

    I love you Emilie! <3

  • its called fatalism, or saracsm, or a mix of the two, and they are downright amazing with emiles music, =]

  • amazing by all means!

  • Im glad you like it, Sis :-)

  • That was awsome/cool!!Emilie Autumn has an awsome/pretty singing voice.

  • I sang this for a talent show

  • she has a really nice voice

  • hell yea lol

  • lol "ill cut my innermost thigh so theyllthink im menstru..." XD

  • I found this by accident and i love it. She has a really pretty voice

  • I did too! And I'm already addicted.

  • wow you should become a fan.

  • Same here! i love emilie

  • nice

  • she reallly duzz have quite a lovely voice.

  • from what ive heard its either anne boylene or catherine howard. i dont know which tho.

    ")

  • Both got beheaded but Catherine was the one who was actually cheating, plus she was 19 when she married the king who was quite fat, old, and gouty by then, so it's probably about her.

  • Anne Boleyn was also condemned as guilty of adultery.

  • it's probably catherine howard. anne married henry when he was still pretty young and healthy. catherine was also very vain and materialistic (oh what beautiful things i'll wear what beautiful dresses and hair).

  • Or, it could just be some random girl who was married off to a rich, ugly, old man. It was quite common to sell your daughter back then.

  • Anne Boleyn had an affair with her brother so ive been told

  • Because she had a miscarriage so she had to have a child if she wanted to live. (or maybe just stay married to him?) anyways, she asked her brother to because she knew he wouldnt tell anyone but his wife saw. I don't know if they actually did or if they almost did, though.

  • her father sold her to an rich guy to high up their sotial state, later king Heinrich the VIII. but after giving birth to 2 death children the king was disappointed...

So Thomas Cromwell and the brothers from Jane Seymour lied to all the other people about her having an affair with some other guys INCLUDED her brother...

Soooo horrible... Just because the king wasn't able to get some healthy children...

  • No, she didn't. That was a lie cooked up by Thomas Cromwell, who wanted to get rid of her for her own means. Anne swore on the damnation of her soul that she didn't sleep with her brother. The current belief that she did originates from The Other Boleyn Girl - a book which really cheapened Anne Boleyn's character and used the real human tragedy of the false accusation of incest against her as a cheap sensationalist 'twist'.

Sorry to get het up - I'm an Anne Boleyn fan, you see :D

  • @obsessmuch666 Write on! The real Anne was just a sophisticated, progressive soul, writing poems & music, multilingual, a celebrated singer, dancer, playing countless instruments, virginals, lute, harp, flute. She gave alms & sewed clothes for the poor, funded schools, championed diverse religious beliefs while respecting current ones, (she hated seeing monasteries torn down.) But a married man fell for her, she argued with people & had a girl instead of boy... so the fix was in

  • @obsessmuch666 wow, you make a good point there lass, but mind if i ask ye a wee question: who in the hell is Anne Boleyn? (pardon my language, pregnancy horomonesXD)

  • @dnaivnae I don't know a whole lot, but she was a wife of Henry the 8th who was beheaded.

  • @GameFreak982928 thats who she was? one of the beheaded wives of the man behind the creation of the divorce? (i think he did that) dang, i had no idea, shame she died for nothing, eh? thanks for telling me.

  • So I'll fuck who I choose for I've nothing to lose

wow never knew that could sound so pretty like XD

  • OMG LOL

"When dining on peacock I know I won't swallow

Through balls, births, and bridge games I know what will follow"

Emilie Autumn is amazing. Only she can make a bj sound elegant.

  • AGREED~

  • LUV THIS SONG

  • <.<"" I thought maybe it was about a prostitute..... Lol

    Whoops ^^

  • what does she means with bridge games??

  • as in a game of bridge the card game

  • because she's got to play with the men...

  • Funny and so beautiful.

  • Marie Antoinette wasn't beheaded for having an affair.

  • omg thats horrible lol having to marry someone and getting beheaded lmao great song though!

  • This song is wonderfully sarcastic^^

    That's a good thing.

  • I seem to see thomas in every one fo these vids (or almost) bitching about her...

I would like to know why

\owell this girl is amazing i fall in lvoe wit teh violin most of all <3 but she is well talented ^^

And same with the otehrs in the group(or band) Gotta give em credit too ^^

  • She has a bEautiful voice, and for those of you whom are wondering what shes really singing about.Shes singing about how The Beautiful Marie Antoinette was forced to Marry a King of a much older age.And was decapitated for having had an Affair with a more Handsome and Deserving man.But she died knowing that she didn't give a fuck.

  • There are so many things wrong with that statement.

  • Maybe to you but its true. And to be honest I don't care what you think any way,The maker of this video stated that this song was about that in the comments above. And no one should be forced to marry some one whom they don't like.

  • I don't know whether the maker of the video is right or not, they didn't write the song. But your synopsis of Marie Antoinette's life is ludicrous. Her husband was scarcely one year older than her, and there is no evidence that she ever had any affairs, nor was that the reason why she was guillotined.

  • I pretty sure it's actually meant to be about Katherine Howard - the young, frivolous girl who was forced to marry the old, grossly overweight Henry VIII rather than Francis Derham, who she really loved. She had an affair with the handsome Thomas Culpepper, and was beheaded for her adultery. She never realised the danger of her behaviour, because she was too young and lightheaded, and was pleased to marry a man who disgusted her because of all the superficial pleasures of being Queen.

  • you hit it right on the head good job! *thumbs up*

  • I completely agree with this you... honestly its thhe only one that makes sense.

  • well, it may be about ann boylen, who was beheaded because, well, Henry wanted to do Jane Seymore

  • @obsessmuch666

She didn't love Francis either. Katherine admit her adoration/love for Culpepper right before her beheading. Saying; "I die a Queen, but rather would have died the wife of Thomas Culpepper."

  • @LokiPii Katherine Howard only said that in The Tudors series, she really asked for others to pray for her, that her family be shown mercy & the king be blessed. She & Thomas Culpepper never confessed to a liason. They did admit to meeting & talking sometimes, "flirting" perhaps, but said they were friends only. According to Hampton Court site, "What went on behind Katherine's bedroom door was never proved." Katherine: "I am innocent of all charges and will never admit to these lies."

  • Such an awesome fairy.

  • this really is a lovely song. Some say its dark and whatever but it has a great sound to it. She has a great voice. ^-^

  • I totally agree!!

  • hehe, funny, but somewhat distrubing. I like it though.

  • This women is amazing, she has a beautiful saprano voice.

  • Who are you to judge? Sorry we're not like you in any way or agree with your elitest crap but we like her and her songs. Go listen to your Simple Plan. ^_^

  • emilie autumn is amazing. she is talented and beautiful. i wish i could steal her and lock her in my closet and anyone who can't understand tht knows where they can go and what they can do there.

  • shes obviously not an idiot if she can write a melody that good.

    and shes not gothic?

    uhm who cares.

you could call it reggae or rap for all i care

    who cares what its called

if its good music then the name is irrelevant.

    So you sir.

    Seem to be the idiot.

  • Duh, she's never said she was gothic.

  • FUCK OFF THOMAS! ALL YOU DO IS MOAN

  • i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The first time I listened to it I didn't pay attention to the lyrics and thought it was a mistake that it came on my station. It's really quite funny and charming and I absolutely adore that voice^^

  • i will fuck who i choose when im ready lol

  • pick me :)

  • ummmm......tee hee depends how old r u? lol jk noooooott realli ready yet babe

  • I love this song so much. The lyrics crack me up and the song is lovely. <3

  • weart..this is a pretty old style and really uniek but still people love it..its just classic music only the lyrics are modern!

i love it..i just love classic music..

  • 'modern' lyric? Riiiiiite xDD

  • What beautiful things I'll wear... x3 <3 it!!!

  • I dont have to like a style to like some kind of musik^^ but when i listen to her music i dont have to see her right?

  • She remember me to Nina Häggen, i don't know why, the style i guess ...

  • u make no sence u say u dont like her and he style, but... u like this song? wow... -.-

  • it makes sense. your being stupid.

  • Why not? Plus why would you say that on a video where people who watch/listen to the song adore her?

  • Why wouldn't you say it? If you have an opinion, by all means voice it. No one should be offended by the statement, "I don't like this artist." We all have an opinion and we are all free to voice it.

I'm with NOONE, I don't like her shtick, but I can't deny that she has one hell of a voice on her and that THIS is a good song. :D I'm just not a fan of the artist in general.

  • Jeah you are right. I think I just said it in the wrong way.^^ see top^^

  • emilie autumn is so wonderful !

    i love she! <33

  • perfect song+picture. she's so amazing!!!! luv her! this song can make me cry despite the humor, lol. its about a queen. perfect balance of beauty and burlesque. its funny but so beautiful and serious.

  • reminds me of the dresden dolls

  • hehe!, sorry is Picture instead of pisture n.n !

  • A fantastic combination of barroques' sounds, with some fresh gothic style and an excellent precise satire lyric plus this cute pisture = Makes an awesome song!!!!

  • Dude this song is awesome and the picture you've put with it really fits with the song, five stars !!

  • lol. i think youre boyfriends trying to tell you something. no just kidding. i love singing this song its amazing =]

  • she's an extremely talented violinist, writer, and vocalist. if u prefer the shallow entertainment that is widely offered everywhere else go somewhere else. why are u watching her video if u don't like her music?

  • I just love her and all her songs...I love Emilie Autumn<3

  • shut the f**k up you idiot

at least she has talent unlike the other 'stars' that i bet you love to listen

just go back to your freaking paris hilton and stop talking s**t about artists who really have talent

  • pffft and what do you listen to?

    shut the fuck up

  • lol your lbc is smelly

  • wut is that? a spamfag

  • I just love this song....sigh....

  • I love this song it's one of my favorite emilile autumn songs.

  • Emilie Autumn is a wonderful singer.

  • No! Emilie Autumn is a great singer! I luz this song!

  • If that's your opinion, state it as such

  • eargasmic....

  • love this!!!!!!

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!

I love the picture!! Where can I find it?!

  • :]!!!...genial

  • <3 =]

  • This is about Katherine Howard, not Anne Boleyn. Henry still was pretty good looking when with Anne, but he was fat and had bad breath and rotten teeth when with Katherine. Also, Katherine was the only wife that definitely had an affair while Queen.

  • Even proclaimed it before her death!

  • Excellent song.

  • I am addicted to this song, I love the lyrics, and the music.

She should really make a video for this, just imagining it I know it'll be beautiful and unique. <333

  • she should

but i don't think she makes videos

  • I see it now....

A beautiful girl in a beautiful dress....and she lives in the old times.

    I would love it.

  • The ups and downs are part of their beauty.

  • this song is pretty. love this song and emilie. rock on girl!

  • I really like the song. It's classically beautiful and rare nowadays. The songs like she's talking about King Henry's the VIII wives. It's beautifully sad

  • i think your right but i think its a clash or mixture of Ann boylen and victorian women in general.

  • its gothic/ victoriandustrial... lol. and it seems to be in general about arranged marriages. emilie autumn has such good points. this is exactly why i believe marriage is an abomination designed to control women (and has failed at that too) that should be abolished, lol

  • yea i make songs like her

  • It's pretty weird that I run across this right after going to see 'The Other Boleyn Girl'. XD

  • "Victorian Industrial"

  • what kind of music is that? gothik? or lolita? or WHAT?!?!!

    i'm confused

  • Lolita is not a type of music.

  • tard
