The Shah is on record asking the US & US allies for nuclear technology so Iran could have a nuclear bomb. Of course, the US said "Why of course, Reza! Anything for our little dictator here! Whom did Savak torture today, hmmm?" The first reactors in Iran were built by the German Company Seimens.

In contrast, how many have watched Britney Spears videos over the 2.5 years since this posting?
I'm pretty sure bubonick23 watched the first 10 minutes of this and didn't even get to the speaker. You really should listen to watch Chris Hedges has to say, he's a very bright guy with a lot of expierience with these issues. He condemns the "liberals" just as much as everyone else. It's not a party issue it's a global one.
Actually, what Hedges says is all true. Most nations deceive themselves that their militarism, their wars, and all their decisions are all made with holy intentions. Hitler and his followers had convinced themselves they wanted to save the world; likewise, most Americans view all of America's actions as virtuous, despite the fact that our history - in particular, the genocide of the Native Americans and the enslavement of blacks - proves we are as sinful as anyone.

I can't believe I watched as much of this as I did. These people are all wack jobs. This is what is meant with the label 'liberals'. I'm not for the bush 'regime' (hahaha) but this is over the top.
"Fascist" is an interesting word. It sounds like a bad word. But it is used indiscriminately - just like they used to use the word Tory, which originally referred to certain Irishmen.
