Absolutely, this "is what it is"! A gutsy experiment based on very critically minded ideas, with a heavy dose of obscure camp... Any experiment must take into account it's weaknesses as well as strengths, or it doesn't mean anything - welcome the negative (except of course for the really abusive ones) with the positive, and you'll learn more. *damn the limited comment space!*

Nobody thinks you're in blackface. If you were, it'd be a piss-poor job. Most of us have knowledge to share with the world, but we're not all so condescending about it. You've spent all this time in the video blog talking down to people you've never met and demanding they "look that up," when you could have just said your goddamned piece and been done with it. Maybe you just don't have the cultural capital it takes to understand what I'm doing here. The simplicity belies complex references to other world's. Like I said... look up "Two Faced Woman," the song not the movie, and notice the other two songs being played, "Rocket 88," and "Stairway to Gilligan's Island."

Truly, the camp cosmos seem to have aligned because this seemingly blackfaced image and the Zeppelin travesty at the end of your videoblog remind me of my friend who created an Inland Empire black rapper named Mizz Guided, who raps over a sample of "Stairway to Heaven."
