how do you do the selection with the mouse? my mouse just draws a line, instead of making a selection box.. and selecting vertices is hard

@FTWGamerGuy if your asking about the box select you press b and left click on the mouse, hold down the mouse button and it will drag out a box, move your mouse around while doing this to get the right size box.

@linka711 just do yourself a favor and watch some tutorials for beginners. it will tell you what all the shortcut keys do. I'm not telling you the key that extrudes or else you wont learn thiese things on your own like the rest of us. My advice again is dont start attempting to model until you know the interface and shortcut keys.

That was pretty good man. What I have done with my arms is that I would model them separately. I did that so I can have more control of my modeling.
