I have just casted my vote which reads request pending and hope that it is accepted, i am scottish and grew up as a teenager and loved the songs by Smokie and would love to hear them perform again.I am not a proffesional keyboard player by any means, but i was inspired by the song in the interview, Have you ever seen the rain, and have uploaded this on facebook under the ID Douglas Dryburgh.I hope it could be possable as, ouch we are getting older.I will
i cant see them ALL reuniting too much water under the bridge now, but if the campaign is to get the current smokie in the charts in the uk thats a good thing..i wish them well.... so all the supporters out there get facebooking.....
I'm the biggest Smokie fan ever! They should reunite one time with all the past living members and to blow some new hits in the charts; imagine Smokie in concert with Norman and Craft as vocalists, Barton on the screen, Uttley as the ever long lived bass guitarist, Silson and the other guitar player, the drum guys, all together! My opinion is that if it will happen something like this, everybody will be amazed about the "grandeur" of such an event.
I saw Smokie in Melbourne, Australia in November 2010 and they were just sensational live in concert...the audience ranged from early 20's upwards and EVERYBODY got right into a magnificent concert.....This band deserve much more recognition than just being remembered as the band that sang "Living Next Door to Alice" !
So please take all news about the band, espacially the new single, on all web-platforms, to inform each other out there in the world! They are the greatest band with a brilliant sound! Take they back in the charts all over the world!!!
I am so happy that something is being done about getting Smokie back in the UK charts! I am 23 years old and have been a Smokie fan since I was 6, as was my Dad before me. I am originally from Bradford and lived there until I was 17. I saw Smokie at a free concert in myrtle park a few years back (unfortunately Terry only played one song, as he was having some health issues at the time) and I just couldn't believe how good they still were. I intend to navigate away from here and join the page now
Hi, I am Terry's daughter and for those of you who are not already a member of my Smokie fan page on facebook, please take a look at the page below for news and updates about the boys!

Thank you for the positive comment TWENTIETHCENTURYBABY My campaign is not to stop anyone getting to mumber one, or even asking for us to be number one but simply for the UK to open their ears a bit more!
I hated that RATM song and didn't download it. I won't download a song unless I like it. My feeling is, a song should only be no.1 if loads of people download it because they like it, not just downloading it for the sake of stopping something else getting to no.1 even though they hate the song.
Joe McElderry helped to get Journey back in the charts and I thank him for that.
Let's hope this campaign works though because Smokie do deserve to be in the charts. They have what others don't, TALENT.

Очень хочу, снова слышать старые и новые песни "Смоки". Недавно они выступали в Екатеринбурге. Рады будем видеть в следующем году.
