I can confirm that it's not been so great for ones on the other side of the call when I used Jawbones. RMA'd one of them (for a different issue), but others not being able to hear me have always lingered, regardless of model/phone. My case may be rare (or not), but my patience was tested much.
Great review! I have the jawbone Icon.. It's pure garbage, who cares how good the damn thing looks if it sounds like a piece of junk! Will be taking a look at this one you reviewed
@shaokem thats funny stopped useing motorola bt about 3 to 4 years ago when jawbone came out own a few of them and i dont knpow what your talking about lol you sure your talking about one of the highest rated headset oout to date???
Yeah, in my line of work (master control tv station) its very loud with all the fan noise from all the servers and huge computers. The jawbones clarity was horrible, I had it on correctly, the little nub touching my jawbone. And still horrible sound quality on the receiving end. Next I tried the BlueAnt T1 cause of its claims, it was also horrible, even worse. The best by far is the plantronics voyager pro. Does a great job at hearing my voice and not the background noise.
I've noticed on a lot of websites/forums that the plantronics is closer to number one when it comes to performance. When it comes to looks and I've found that market likes the jawbone, but purely for its small size. I'm after what works not what looks like a piece of jewelry.
@shaokem lmao yeah ok so what are your masters in and how many year sof school do you have in casue i know my brother in law his cusin dose the same line of work in l.a. so i would love to hear this story casue the one your trying to tell me ab out the jaw bone is bull so i cant wait to hear this
Master Control is a job title. The room I work in is very noisy. Sorry to upset you, the jawbone doesn't work well at all, the plantronics does. Perhaps your experience is different.
nice...I had a feeling that was a good headset I'm probably going to get one if they have them over at at&t ... sounds like it works great and yeah I'm tired of all of the bs headsets out there too and in my personal opinion I like the way it looks and its just that much better if it actually preforms well, nice stuff Tom!

Great review, I didn't even think about the focus like some others. I barely saw a difference.

Man that carpet is really in focus.....

@cnip288 glad you like it, its actually a bath towel, the beige color is great for the contrast
mocciat 1 year ago
@mocciat I think my sarcasm was lost.... half the video the headset is out of focus and the bath towel is crystal clear.
cnip288 1 year ago
@cnip288 Yeah very hard to focus on headsets as they are small and don't have a lot of area fir the camera to focus on.

@MRBIGGIEMAC Jawbone looks nice, and it's so small! But it's a piece! Battery life sucks, and noise cancellation and quality of sound is garbage.
