One of the things that I like in the ending is that I find it really creative and the allusion that we find to the religion at the end when the two kids walked in the field of the new world is similar to Adam and Eve, the first people who gave birth to our kind. The new beginning! (I'm not religious, though).

I just watched this and it's clear that this is a movie meant to mock Christianity and it's beliefs.

The note and the warning signs. The Bible.

The chosen ones taking away before the destruction.The rapture of the Church,taken away in a cloud.

Destroying the world with fire,As God says he will do the next time.

The new heaven and a new earth,mentioned at the end of Revelation.

I find it funny. People try to predict things that will happen in the future. but 9/10 of them are wrong.

This very well can happen. Isaac Newton predicted dates/times/places when things would happen (All until 2063 when he predicted the end of the world) So far he hasn't been wrong. But nobody really cares because 2063 isn't for 50+ years..
