i bought a refurbished first gen mini and it lasted about 9 months before permenently refusing to turn on or charge. my refurbished 4th generation nano has lasted almost a year and iz in great shape.
isopropyl alchahol will clean that very stain well, i use that to clean all my electronics works the best, just dont soak it too much or you will short it out
my mom paid 40$ shipped for it, and seeing as it was broken and crap and not how it was described... we were very dissapointed. i bought the same ipod for 10$ from a friend and its still working.. even survived some water damage haha.
ask around if any of your friends have an old mini lying around before you go out and buy one online. i suggest eBay or Amazon. And read the description carefully before paying
@commercialsaremywife how much? im not really looking right now... but maybe. i got a blue one that i thought didnt work but it works fine now.. idk what was wrong with it but the person who sold it to me i gave them 5$ and then it didnt work so he gave me my 5$ back. but now that it works again he doesn't care that he gave it away.
@alyssssalyn I bought one that didn't turn on at all for $17. I bought a new battery and it works fine now, so... it was money well spent. I'm in love with the classics.
By "excellent" standards it would b mint condition. By "good" standards it would hav all workn parts but hav sum cosmetic scratchs. By "fair" standards it would have 1 or 2 mis-behaving parts & lots of cosmetic scratchs. By "poor" standards it would not hav workn parts but still can b used as disk space.
This iPod was in Fair condition. If I had known this I would not havebought it. Dont tell me like you think your right cuz u didnt receive it.
Wow, I can't beleive a seller would send that item. Amazon is quick to ban sellers that make their site look bad. I think the hold button is stuck because of the soda or syrup that was obviously spilled on this item. I would say it was packaged properly, and the shipping costs would suggest that they at least sent it first class so it didn't take forever to arrive, but the condition would be fair at best and should mention the problems in the comments that would be on your packaging slip.
She said it was in "Good Condition" and I didn't think to look at her rating... but it was 0... as in... never sold a darn thing in her life ZERO... now I only buy from ppl with high amounts of reviews and a high percent rating.
don't let this deter you. find a good buyer. I just didn't buy new.. i bought used.. and the cheapest one. But its been resolved FINALLY because i had to call Amazon personally and they are pulling it into collections and refunding my mothers money.

im guessing is, the top cover was pricked so that the previous owner can replace the internal batteries.
if u look at videos on how to change batteries on an ipod mini you'll know.

How much did you pay for it? I want to buy an iPod mini because I like its simplicity and the newer nanos are too thin.
Also, does the battery die easily? Thanks

Looks like somebody spiled maple syrup onto the hold button. And it takes alot of force for that to happen.

do you think thats what the "soda" stains are? that I name in the video.
Ps: the woman still has yet to contact me.
