Makhdoom Mohiuddin was a revolutionary distinguished Urdu poet of Hyderabad, India.

He earned a masters degree in 1936 from Osmania University and founded the Progressive Writers Union in Hyderabad.

Makhdoom Uncle was my Baba's very close friend. Infact, the great Makhdoom took refuge in my Baba's house in Hyderabad during the difficult days when there was head money for Makhdoom Mohiuddin's political activities.

And yes, Arif bhai has excellent taste for music, photography & I am sure in other genres.
