once i had a really strange bug once exactly at that point-when ron and hermoine were waiting for me. i started a duel (because i prefer to fight alone) beat the two students i challenged and challenged them again but this time they were 3 XD and so on with every duel 1 more student joined until i ended up fighting 10 students XD then they beat me and the bug didnt repeat itself

you get rictusempra, petrificus totalus, and levicorpus in DA lessons in the Room of Requirement. It will show up as a task on the map when someone you have recruited for the DA wants to learn a spell.

if you are fighting 1 on 1 you can use the freezing charm and you win with one shot

You go near the broken pipe when your tasked with getting down the Swamp Box. Ron and Hermione will leave to watch out for Teachers. You can then go off on your own.

Well it's really up to you. You can go up to any student and challenge them. But mostly it's just the higher level Slyterins that don't run away.

The last duel is awesome, I reacon there should be alot of duels at hogwarts though, like in the PSP version you get to fight any slytheren, and the only hard (er) duels are at the Ministry of Magic, all you have to do is Dissarm them with expelliaramus and you win in the normal duels...
