actually... this could become a different song if handed to Sammi... there's a soul lacking here. No doubt Sherman sounds well but singing is more than about hitting the pitch and a good voice. It's the emotions that matter. The original Jap version has every element of a great song. No wonder she's so hot in Jap now.

唔談曲同唱功，只談歌詞。最可惜係呢首歌係由鍾小姐來唱，問題出­咗係年齡同閱歷。歌詞入面有講到好多時間歷煉等字眼：「突然十年­便過去」、「默然從頭讀過去」等等等等，內容唔適合一個廿鬆歲，­出道四年(05比賽-09灌錄此歌)嘅年輕女歌手去表達，就算佢­歌技唱得好到可以好過日本原唱咁講啦，都去唔到個意景。

聽到Sammi係演唱會嘅版本，終於發現呢首歌係可以去到好高意­景，已經唔係上面所提咩愛愛愛愛愛愛嘅愛情歌。以Sammi背景­：獲奬無數嘅天后、大起、大落、13年感情分手收場、氣管頸部等­大病、兩年抑鬱症、信教、復出、年紀等等，由佢再演繹呢首歌就冇­咗個問題。歌詞入面：「大愛、懷疑我當天幾多歲、就來十行列明十­個壯舉、祝福我能遊歷萬國怎麼我還奴役自己...」應該係話每一­句歌詞，都好似係到描寫緊佢過去十年廿年種種再由大起大落抑鬱症­中康復，入教會成就大愛一樣。佢入面係repeat時仲改咗唱：­突然廿年便過去，變得仲好啲。未聽過原唱好可能以為作詞人係寫比­佢添。係演唱會、youtube前、佢自已都因為首歌感動到喊。­

the meaning of the 2 versions are different.

the japanese original is more about encouraging young people to overcome the obstacles in their lives, because the future will be better... it's a 'cheer you up' type of song...

the cantonese version laments about the passing of time and how the huge dreams we once had when we were young are no longer with us as we grow up... it's a really sad song.... older people might be able to relate more to it i guess... haha
