  • I just found this video and a couple weeks ago I saw "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and am now on a detox program--and I just stopped taking zyrtec after having DBU for the past 10 years. I'm 24 hours hive free--usually when I go off zyrtec or forget to take it, it only takes a couple hours for the hives to begin. Good luck

  • Part 3: I am convinced this is an internal issue and can only be cured through a long term, cleansing diet of organic raw foods with a focus on herbs, greens, clean water and thick skinned fruits like watermelon that are highly alkalizing for the body (buffers the toxins/acids). I am going to check for updates on your channel to see how your detox went. I do also believe contributing factors are stress levels and environment (laundry soap, water source, shampoo, body soap, dust, etc.)

  • @thewaterfalloflove Thank you for your comments. I hope to update soon with good news. I think you're right with your suggestions. My work schedule has been 14 to 16 hr days...leaving me little time to try new approaches or even update my channel. Have you seen the DVD entitled...."Reboot Your Life"? I'm hoping to view it soon. Many of my friends have recommended it. Talk soon :)

  • I have seen the documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" yes. I believe I watched it on NetFlix. It was good and it's the same message you get on the YouTube channel LifeRegenerator. Joe Cross also have some other videos on YouTube. There is an interview with him on the DaraDubinet channel. I am happy to report I have less hives each and every day now. In fact today I only had maybe 5 rash marks total. I have not done this well in two months without Zyrtec. I think I am close to clean.

  • Part 2: Dr. Morse will tell you, and I agree, that taking drugs for the symptoms will likely worsen the condition over time due to synthetic hormones that will shut down the production of the natural hormones within the body. Additionally the drugs will be hard on the liver and kidneys which is a large part of the cause to begin with - toxic and weakened kidneys and liver. I believe my problem was created from eating lots of berries (some frozen) every day and non-organic (pesticides).

  • Check out a couple of channels here on YouTube: 1. LifeRegenerator 2. RobertMorseND

I am currently suffering from Chronic Urticaria and my research has me convinced this is most likely an internal issue. I tried OTC Zyrtec and it cleared me up within two hours of my first pill. I took it symptom free for 10 days but then decided I was not going to make the symptoms. I am currently cleaning up my diet and adding herbs and drinking lots of water. I am seeing progress (see part 2)

  • Just found these videos. Dont know why I didnt search sooner. Ive had hives/Urticaria and DPU since 2003. Ive had all the tests done. No one knows. Its sucks, have good and bad days. Can really cause a bad day. Does any detox work for you guys?

  • Thanks for posting. I self diagnosed DPU after similar experiences with the GP. My first experience was 2 years ago after sitting the garden on a wooden slatted backed chair - which needless to say left its mark!! It progressed from there and became very debilitating particularly when on the soles of the feet - simply from being on them for a while. I have noticed that in my case, removing alcohol from my diet over a long period of time (last 9 months) seems to have lessened occurences.

  • Continued...I have the vibratiory one and thought it was normal my entire life since my family has it, also. She got them both, poor kid. I was wondering if you have any other health issues. She is sickly and we are trying to find out what is going on with her. Since she was 12-13yr old her health hasnt been good, It's difficult when dr's dont know what is going on. We got lucky with her origanal allergist.

  • My daughter, 18, has both vibratory angioedema and pressure urticaria. She take the steriods 1 pill about 2-3x a month to keep it under control. Her allergist is retiring so we have to start all of again with a new one who looks at her like she is a hypercondriac.Since she is on SO many pills for these and other issues, the first time she see him she is symptom free and doesnt believe her. Her joints swell and are painful when it acts up before she takes the steriod. Her father suffered with it,

  • Wow...So, I'm not crazy, after all! I've been living with this for more years than I can count. I've been to doctors, but nobody has ever been able to figure this out. I really thought that it was psychosomatic, and I had practically given up hope of ever knowing what it was.

  • come up with a source and hopefully cure! I can't take it anymore. In addition, I have learned that mine is genetic. My only Sister (who has the same Mom but different Dad than I, so we only have our Mom in common) has it to, I just found out recently. Then I spoke to my Mother and when I told her I couldn't ride a bike because of it, she recalled her Mother having the same problem. Keep up the good work, and I will watch your other videos, and maybe will do a little investigating of my own too

  • I have DPU and it started about 6 years ago. I thought it was a symptom of my third pregnancy that never went away! LoL :) But Doctor's think I'm nuts as I went to them for many years and never got a true answer. So I finally researched it myself (took me forever) but I diagnosed myself. I am so fed up with this. It went away for a year, and has come back in full force. I have lost jobs over it. I want to get to the root of it and want to start a site where people can come together and possibly

  • I have dermographism too but it sounds like yours is way worse than mine. I am a very active person but the condition has never hindered me in any way, it just gets annoying.

  • I've got auto-immune hives but I think there's a pressure component to mine - I've had hives pop up bad anywhere my clothes are constrictive and on my feet when I walk a lot. I wore some shoes that were a bit too tight the other day - they weren't when I put them on, lol, my feet swelled some and I was on a shopping trip, and I can't walk hardly. I get the angioedema too, one time I drank from a cup and my lips just went WHOMP - 6 or 7 times normal SO fast it blew me away - scary.

  • thank you for this video!! i have been suffering and was diagnosed recently and my life is just hell... :( please do share any findings because i am so lost and depression is setting in pretty heavily...

  • tjank youso much for sharing this info...this explains why i'm having contiued outbreaks even though i've changed my eating habits and done eerything possible to eliminate hives from my body ... having watch this i now know why i some hours after excersise i get these outbreaks or even after walking my feet hurts .thank you so much because i was beginning to lose hope and i no longer can do things that i enjoy .

  • Thanks for all the videos! I have had DPU for about 5 years. I have not been to the doctor because I don't have insurance. I just self diagnosed my self by finding stuff like this online. My foot is swollen today. It hurts really bad to walk. I get little hives on my body for no reason some times. But also if I have any pressure I know it will be hurting later. Sometimes if it is a bad flare up it will hurt into my muscle also and very painful!

  • Ive had this for almost 3 weeks an im 21 am i gonna have this my whole life

  • I certainly feel for you my friend. I have the same condition. The only relief I've found other than cortisone is liquor. When I start swelling I get really drunk and the swelling slowly goes away and by morning I'm down to just discoloration with little or no itching. I don't know how or why it works but it definitely does for me. Not practical to be drunk every day though huh? Good luck.

  • thanks for posting the videos. I had my first outbreak 10 years ago and went through the progression of different doctors and antihistamines. It took several months on prednisone to become hive free. Recently they are back. An epinephrin shot and medrol dose pack stopped the initial outbreak but they have continued to linger with several flare ups. I am a surfer and notice that the pressure of the wetsuit triggers outbreaks. hang in there and thanks again for posting.

  • @GR8bien

i've had DPU and CIU on and off for over 20 years. when i'm on allergy shots it's much much better. allergy shots are not prescribed for urticaria, but i think it works. i just went back on a couple of months ago and the hives have greatly improved. good luck.

  • Hey grizzlemeat thanks for the videos. I started researching more about urticaria since I've started having some recent and persistent outbreaks. My condition is very similar to your's, with swelling seemingly to appearing after pressure contact. I haven't had persistent outbreaks for about 7 years, they just stopped and I thought it was something I "grew out of".

I am 24 now, and overall pretty healthy, I would say. After my first recent outbreak, I too was prescribed prednisone.

  • @laocrunk The prednisone alleviated a lot of the hive symptoms (some small pockets remained). I was on prednisone for 5 days and after I've been off of it the flare ups have come back with a vengeance. I was also taking Claritin twice a day and Benadryl at night, but the antihistamines are no longer helping.

I noticed you havent posted any videos for about a year/replies for awhile, how are you holding up? Any progress?

  • The medrol dose packs worked well for my DPU at first, but as soon as the steroid is gone, the welts and hives come right back. Every single day I wake up I have welts and hives just from where pressure was applied from sleeping in bed. What an aggravating disease. I'm a 41 year old male from Michigan that used to work manuel labor until I got this disease. Now I can do almost nothing.

  • any cure?

  • @farahaddada Unfortunately, no known cures at this time....the search continues. There's been some very helpful information passed along from the community. I apologize for not posting a video lately, but my work schedule has been crazy. Thanks for posting.

  • I find that shoes, tight or not, tend to be a problem at every change of season. When my feet get used to the "new" shoes, it gets better.

  • So I had a case of this that started around Labor Day 2008. It faded away after a couple of months, at some point in October. It just started again, around Labor Day 2010. Last year at this point (2009) I was in another country and came back in mid September. I'm glad that I have been able to narrow it down to some type of environmental/timing reaction. Best of luck, I hope things have worked out...

  • does it get worse when you sweat?...mine did

  • Strange but true.....my story...i had hives and yes they got really bad......went to doctors and they couldnt figure it out...this went on for 15 years or so...long story short , after my daughter was born i was at work with a terrible pain on my right side.......it got so bad . i went to the er....turn out to be my apendex(spelling sux)...ruptured...and had been leaking ......poisening my system..after it was removed i havent had i hive....my doctor seems to agree.....who knows?take care

  • @kevinp860 wow...very interesting, but that makes sense. hope all is good ;)

  • start taking red reishi capsules,1800 a day. I have had this for five years done a lot of reading and came across ganoderma lucidum and now know that we are being screwed by the big pharmaceutical companies. I feel 95% better in only a week. I wish I could tell everyone about its power to heal.

  • I have had this for 5 years and tried prednisone which works but side effects are terrible. I have tried a list of other medicines xyzal, zertec, ect,,, I recently started a new thing that has changed my being forever I hope so far I am fucking blow away at what this stuff does to heal my body and mind, RED REISHI MUSHROOMS have made me feel like a healthy person again. It takes a few days till it starts to work but do not give up. Also get a book called mycomedicinals by Paul Stamets. Ganoderma

  • what if the whole time he just needed benaydryl lol.

  • i think i got heat hives

  • i went fishing and i got an attacked on my arms and feet

  • i have a condition called physical urticaria.. wich means i get hives from physical contact or for no apperant reason.. literally .. however i have never gotten on my face or neck area.. i guess the only good thing is dat it goes away after about 10-30min..sometimes an hr. going crazy lately ive been cutting the hives spots i figured its raised my skin i cutt it and nothing but blood came out.. thinking a blood transfussion could help..or maybe my blood is contaminated.. ithink is blood related.

  • I AM SO TIRED OF THIS HIVES ,I HAVED THIS FOR 17 YEARS AND IS PAINFULL AND LIMITED MY LIFE AND EVERY WAY ,I HATE IT ...I HOPE ONE DAY FIND A SOLUTION ...,ACTUALLY I HAVED IT NOW IN MY LIPS AND LOOKES LIKE GOING TO POOP SO PAINFULL ,BUT NO OPTION THAT TAKE IT AS A COME....IS SO SAD THIS CONDITION WUAWW

  • @sweetashoney991 I completely feel your pain. I documented an actual hive outbreak that you can probably relate to...check out my video #4. I just did a liver/gallbladder cleanse that really seemed to help. I'll post a video in a 2 to 3 weeks showing how it's done. It might help you too. In the meantime....best wishes. Let me know if you try anything that gives you good results.

  • @sweetashoney991 I sympathize with you mine has taken over my life too. We should be living in a bubble. It is good to share this & knowing we are not on our own. We just have to be careful not to put any pressure on us so we don't suffer (((

    Eve x

  • @sweetashoney991 me too, i feel what you feel bro. best wishes on us,

  • UPDATE and HELP for ALL HIVE SUFFERERS:

Foods that our body cant genetically handle...arent digested properly and cause irritation of the stomach lining..this causes holes in the lining and particles of undigested foods travels through into the blood..which causes an allergic reaction - hives etc.

  • do you think that benadryl can help you just to take the itching away i have it and its annoying

  • I have suffered with DPU for over 20 years - with 1 year remission about two years ago. I was devastated when it came back.

  • @slurpy111 Same here. I had a period of remission, about 4 years, then it came back in a big way. It's been very aggressive for the past 1.5 years. Unfortunately, the only way that I've been able to control it is with steroids (prednisone). I'm currently taking about 15mg per day to keep it at bay. The search continues.....let me know if you get results with anything else.

  • @grizzlemeat - I've never been able to control it, I call it "managing". I take massive antihistamine doses - 300mg ranitidine in the morning and 30-40 mg doxepin at night and just hope they aren't "too bad".

    And on we search!!

  • my dad's had this for years but only slightly. im 23 and iv had it for 3 or 4 months. my dad told me its to do with alcohol and heat. wen i stop drinking and keep the heating low in my house i be fine.

  • I didn't realise this condition we share is so common

  • Last week Wednesday night I broke out into hives for no reason I could think of. I tried treating it with benadryl for a few days and it became flat out unbearable. It was everywhere. My sleep habits were ruined completely and I couldnt get anything done or go anywhere.

I finally went to the doctor and he gave me a shot of steroids and a course of prednisone to take. After researching more about hives I am afraid this will be chronic. I cant imagine living with non stop hives. Any tips?

  • i suffered from full blown urticaria for over a year,i reacted to heat, pressure ,water ,sun light ,fabrics, exercise, food. i noticed i had a raised bite in my jaw caused by a tooth with a root filling, i decided to remove the tooth , we found three abscess attached to the silver pins used in the root filling . these could not be seen by xray.with a few weeks i was off all medication and returned to full health hope this helps some one

  • @tigercarbonel

I am currently suffering from chronic urticaria for almost 4 months. I undergo "fixed bridge" involving my two canine teeth 3 months before i got the the first symptom, which I suspect that may be the cause of my urticaria. Can you give me some ideas or possible tests that you have been through that did not detect the infection. Thanks

  • My wife is having this problem. Its been going on for about 6 months now. We have been been looking at all kinds of cures. We found that myrrh oil stops the itching and showers using a mixture of hot and cold water sooths .

  • i have something like that but mine happens imedietly

  • is this the same as Dermatographic urticaria?

  • hi i know what it feels, just one question; have you been checked out for Celiac Disease?

  • I'm very interested to see if you come across a cure, because this condition is making my life very difficult. I'm in college right now and I'm studying to be a storyboard artist and animator. The scariest thing that has happened so far was my wrist swelling up and making drawing itchy and painful.

I'm about to start predisone meds. So far the meds I've tried merely tone down the itching and do nothing about the welts.

Thank you for posting this. I don't feel like such an alien now :D

  • Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm working closely with an allergist that is actively researching this condition. At the moment, he has me on "singulair" which is giving some relief, however, not nearly as effective as prednisone. In about a week or so, I'll be trying an experimental drug that appears to be helping some people suffering from this condition. I'll be posting the results. Best wishes :)

  • :D Thanks. Good luck to you too :)

  • The search continues. I'm going through some current testing atm...hopefully something good comes from it. The prednisone is great in short courses...it's just the long term side effects that are disappointing. Let me know how things go for you.

  • Wow! I have a friend that has exactly what you have! I get a hive every once and awhile, but it come's on quick then leaves...not what you have explained. Love the VID! Keep it coming, I will be anticipating the next one. Accupuncture?? You never know...maybe it will work. You didn't complain much, but it seems that you have some pain your hiding. You didn't mention if it was painful? IS IT? I hope thing's work out!! I'll be watching!
