  • Stop the argument, you guys! We'll know the big countries politicians and businessmen like the USA been in Africa to take what they always wanted at the xpense of human blood for years now. U can't blame them for that though, you've blame your on people who never put the vallues of Africans lives. They put the their owninterests and never thought of anyone else, or their country' future. Stop the silly talking n rise up for what life is worth. Bring back harmony as it was before stolen!

  • the day will come, when all the white people in africa have to go back to europe or usa. if the day comes, europe has to make a big funeral for white people

  • @tiken2 Hahaha... FUCKIN' NIGGER That'll never happen.

  • Investors benefit...CI benefit. In the long run yes. But the fcat that America is building an embassy is not an indication of the country current stability like you indicated. All it means is that we have something they want. And thats not anything great especially when it will never be done on our terms. The whole of African economy is testatment to the fact that trading with the west screws us up. But you obviously don't know that.

  • Diyomi, and also there is a reason why la BCEAO has for the most part each time elected a Ivoirien as it's President. Can you tell me why? well one who hold the most weight economically, will have the biggest share/influence of Bank.

  • The African Bank has moved its headquarters from Ivory Coast to Senegal due to the unrest. You obviously need to do your homework to realise what it means for a rising economy that was the model country for African economic growth to what it is now.

  • The african bank might have move their headquaters to senegal, but the last president, and current president is Ivoirien, so moving temporarily to another state does not mean anything, and you need to do your hw also cuz obviously you seem to think that CI has just completely fell off (such as Liberia or Sierra Leonne), and that there is nothing left,

  • Where did I state that CI is like Sierra Lenone. I empathically stated that it could improve. Gosh you really are a twat!!

  • Move or not, the Bank is headed, and for the most part has always been headed even during the crisis by a Ivoirian, and currently they are voting for a new president and another Ivoirien is being looked at. Man you seem to think CI economy has just completely fell off Ie Liberia or Sierra Leonne.

  • The bank is headed by an Ivoirian= CI is a country with no flaws. I mean COME ON. If that is an indication of a country greater then its really stupid because it surpasses the internal issues of the country. There is no point talking to people like you because you get immotional. And that in my book converts to idiotism. Happy flag waving!!!

  • Our ports no longer deal with international ships and now they are being docked into Ghana whose port is not even big enough to deal with it. I am proud of my country but I am also realistic to see that work needs to be done to sort out the last decade of problems. Thats how growth happens. Its very idiotic to assume that nothing has been lost after a bout of CIVIL UNREST.

  • Wow you are so smart lol you actually think that one would not know we have alot of work to do in Ci, and Africa as a whole. Now you are being naive and idiotic to assume that.

  • If you pay attention to what I wrote it was in return to some idiot (probably related to you) who tried to give me crap for saying that CI was a greater country before all the troubles than now. Which is a perfectly logical thing to say. So when you say that we have a lot of work to do you are actually saying what I said initially Einstein. And yeah I do consider myself smart!!!

  • You keep referring the temporary arrangement, bank moving, and port traffic moving, you actually think the logistis in Ghana can continue to support the traffic, obviously that traffi is going to divert back to CI because it has cost them. And trust that I am also realistic about, growth has slowed down, but will pick up god willing the peace stays.

  • If you recognised taht the country can be improved you will be better off for it rather than trying to be arrogant. I am from there but rather than singing about past glories I like to see how we can improve things.

  • I am not being arrogant, nor am I being naive about the corruption, and poverty, and problems, but I am not being negative about where I was born as you are doing, past glories built the country, and held the country during it's crisis, and will continue to hold, and improve as we move out of this crisis. And also I will not only talk but participate in the Ci economy, by investing instead of permanently staying overseas as many of my peers choose to do.

  • And I am not arrogant, despite the crisis, the slow down of economy, I believe in CI, and will invest in CI, past glories made the country, and sustained the country and will support CI during the peace transition. Improving things would be la diaspora, and investments. CI stalled, but is getting back up.

  • What are you talking about?!?!? Where did I say CI will not pick up again and improve in the future? Where did Cutykitten say that it is not a great country. What is so wrong with saying that the country is not as good as it used to be. Thats what tends to happen after wars!!!

  • Nothing wrong wit that, cuz it is obvious and is the true the country has slowed down. All this came about when u put up a negative comment, At the end of the day on est ensemble, ya foyyyyyy much love

  • diyomi talks right...

Our problem here is that we deal with people who have no idea how things could be better too busy they are following populist leaders... A shame.

Like all dictatures, they are masses of people who refuse to see the truth, the misery, sadness, lies. How can we solve a problem if we refuse to consider that it exists in the first place?

  • Yes CI fell of and Yes, there isn't mush left... at least for those without the connections...

Do you know that 50% of the population has only 1 meal a day? (and it's probably not a feast), that litteracy in the population is in a sharp decline? We are moving backwards man, can't you see or you too have been made blind by the lights of Rue Princess...

  • So we are not allowed to make constructive criticisms? Are you serious? All you have been harping on about is the fcat that the head of the bank is from CI. Compared to the many businesses that pulled out and the economic revenues we lost as well as the fcat that the international community is nervous about reinvesting in our shores that means shit all.

  • Get over yourself. I am from the Ivory Coast and I do know what I am talking about. The USA has built the biggest embassy there because on top of oil we also have diamonds and that makes it ripe for international interest and businesses to come and take advantage

  • Wow no shyt, thanks for telling me something I already knew. I do put up negative comments about where I come from, we all know CI has it's issues, and we have all being victims in one way or another.

  • So my sin is putting up negative comments about where I come from. And you know it all and are a saint because you didn't. The logic is so stupidilly flawed it beggards belief. I guess you are abetter countryman than I am. CONGRATULATION!!!!! You agree that there are issues the same thanI did but somehow because I left it at that I commited a sin. lol.

  • lol comme cute kitten you smarter than that, well have have negative opinions of the corruption, the rackets, the poverty, ect... that happens in CI, I think we both agree on alot of things, I saw a negative comment about CI, and reacted, normal instinct.

  • Tell me something I don't know, no one does anything for nothing. Obviously the embassy, and the investments are wanted to continue building CI, and revamp the economy, so you get over yourself, Investor benefit, and CI benefit, cuz that is how our "past glories" were built. I have no reason to be arrogant,CI has it's postive negative, but you just seem to think CI fell off, and there is nothing left, and blah blah blah

  • Better people realise that we have a lot to do to gain back those businesses rather than idiots refusing to have discussion and labelling anyone with a different viewpoint a monster. People like you hold the country back. Look to what can be improved.

  • I NEVER said CI will not pick up. I am responding with real facts (compared to your one fact about the bank) that we are going through hard times. How do you go from that to saying that I said that CI will not pick up. You go on with your believes. Dreams are only dreams. I intend to make mine a reality and things only get improved when people look and recognise areas to be improved. Not when they have their head stuck up their own butts and accuse others of insulting the country.

  • National emotionalism is the desease of the uneducated masses. Thats exactly whats starts wars. Not listening to different point of views and assuming that if someone has a diff point of view they are doing something wrong

  • Man you think the US comes just for investments? You don't think they will rob more than they pay for? You're a real clown. The extreme divide between poverty and the rich will only get bigger. Loooka t the history books. After any wars the country and takes a while to built up and its during that time that most theft is committed by politicians and businesses.

  • You are very naive to assume that US interest in our country is necessarily for our best interest. For the interest of the few that fors sure. Do a bit of homework on what it means for a superpower to show interest in a smaller country's natural resources then you will stop being so smug that they are opening an embassy there!!

  • proud of being from where I am from. that's all I got to say

  • So sad that it takes so long to build such a beautiful country and less than a decade to ruin it.

  • Hey diyomi, b4 you say that, do your research, the economic powerhouse that CI is within the western African region is still great b4, and after the crisis, Ci hold the most weight, economical, infarstructure wise, nothing is destroyed, there is a reason why half of the population are foreigners,, and there is a reason why USA just finished building the biggest embassy in africa located in Abidjan. go and see lol get real and stop generalizing

  • You obviously don't know anything about our neighboor nigeria when you say that we are the strongest economical power in the west. hahaha. Get real yourself.

  • So sad that you can't do your research before making such statements, CI is the heart of West AFrica in many aspects, the infrastructure (Ports, roads, housing, buildings, access to technology, ect....) is one of the best, the economy is one of the best, other surrounding countries feed into CI for many purposes. I am sure you know that. Yes it has it issues, so does all countries. Nothing has been destroyed, get real.

  • Get over yourself. I am from the Ivory Coast and I do know what I am talking about. The USA has built the biggest embassy there because on top of oil we also have diamonds and that makes it ripe for international interest and businesses to come and take advantage.

  • proud to be an ivoirian

    thanks for the video.

  • This is one of the finest anthems in Africa.
