@1stPCFerret iKnow it's only online mode ( wich is more fun of u ask me xD ) and the type thing I had that to if i remember well. instructions below:
Open the game directory. Default: C:\Program Files\SEGA\PHANTASY STAR ONLINE Blue Burst\
Right-click the "PsoBB.exe" icon and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu.
Click the "Compatability" tab at the top of the Properties window.
Check the "Turn off advanced text services for this program" checkbox.
Press the OK button.
