Bear in mind the difference between a "G" rating and a "PG" rating ... if you don't want a movie with this level of violence then what you want is a "G" rated movie, not PG.  PG doesn't mean completely child friendly for every sensitive, young child, it's a rating level in between "G" and "PG-13."

I only ever saw the tv cut of this until two years ago when I got the DVD...this scene was cut and when I watched the DVD I was kind of shocked...it's pretty brutal for a kid's film (even if it's only a robot's death)...yet at the same time there's something funny about Oscar carrying on with "KILL IT, KILL IT, DON'T YOU GET IT?!
