This poll is wrong. There is no way Obama wins in taxes. Republicans always win that.

McCain represents the same old trickle down economics, giving tax breaks to the wealthy. 60% of all Americans would see larger tax cuts under an Obama admin in 2009. Only the richest 1% of Americans would get a tax increase under the Obama plan. Somebody needs to pick up the slack, and it might as well be the people who don't need every penny they make. Obama's plan shows fiscal responsiblity.
This poll shows Americans are informed.

God, you're ignorant. No, McCain, as does Bush, JFK, and Reagan, believes in across-the-board tax cuts. Tax cuts for everyone all at once. Obama, on the other hand, wants to raise taxes on 93% of small businesses (93% of small businesses make over $250,000 a year.)

No 93% of the total income of small buisnesses comes from small buisnesses that make $250000 dollars a year. Most buisnesses make less than that. Most would see a tax cut.

I know. That's why our national debt is at $10T. Obama's plan gives greater tax relief to the middle class than McCain's and has the wealthy make up the short fall. It's called 'Fiscal Responsibility'.

93% of small businesses make more than $250,000. Look it up. Don't go by what the Messiah says in debates.
The reason the poor get little tax cuts is because the lower 40% of our country don't pay a penny in taxes. Most get tax dollars. McCain and others believe in tax cuts for all who actually pay taxes. Across the board tax cuts involve cutting taxes as a percentage, so of course the rich seem to get more. JFK believed in cutting everyone's taxes. Barack does not.

No, I did look it up. That's the truth. Don't go by McCain's rhetoric and his creative way of wording things to hide the truth.
For Americans in the middle class, there will be more tax relief under an Obama Admin than a McCain Admin, that's a fact. Anybody making under $111,000 dollars will see a larger tax cut under obama than mccain (well over half of the tax payers in this country). It's only serious bad news for the top 1% income bracket of people making millions per year.

The number is 100k small businesses will see an increase in their taxes. The misrepresentation here is whether they take gross or net income. The republicans' number is based on gross income, but the actual plan uses net income.
This increase in income tax will also be tempered by the elimination of capital gains tax for small business, tax cuts for creating jobs in the US, and government assistance to supply heath care for their workers.

No, by percentage the highest income bracket gets a 4.4% tax cut under the McCain plan while the majority of tax payers will only see less than 0.7% of a tax cut. Under the Obama plan, the majority will get at least a 2.4% tax cut, while the very poorest get a 5.5% tax cut. Big difference. The people who need the tax cuts the most will get them and the people who don't need them at all pick up the slack.

Yeah, but you forget Obama is getting rid of the Bush Tax Cuts, which will raise taxes. If you combine the Bush Tax Cuts with McCain's proposed plan, the middle class get a higher tax cut under McCain than under Barack Obama.

The wealthy create the jobs. The poor pay no taxes, so they can't get a "tax cut." Stop listening to "The One" when he says McCain doesn't give tax cuts to the poor.
