I've really developed a taste for the erhu.
Everytime I listen it gets better and better, just such a colorful instrument. When it is played it just explodes gracefully with color.
My erhu is on its way, can't wait to start playing!

It's right up there! Zhu Chang Yao, the piece is Wu Yue Chun Chao. (The Coming Spring in May)

Is that one string on that ehru? That thing can really project sound, kinda sounds like a vocal box, I don't know but it's a really nice sound, I'm 1/4 Irish and that sound reminds of Ireland along with China of course. Thanks for posting!
