  • Awesome Video. Check out mine - it's the same Greddy exhaust on a 2005 AP2...

    youtube.com/watch?v=y0b4EyLfkJU

  • I love these cars but really there isn't any point trying to improve the sound of most 4 potters. A real Herculean engine sounds like this [cut and paste to search box]: Spitfire Engined Special 2 of 2

THATs the sound of RAW [old school] GRUNT, end of argument

All new stuff competes on other levels i SUGGEST don't bother competing on NOISE, it WILL ONLY BRING GRIEF from law enforcement and public demands to stop hoons and modified vehicles of ANY kind

Don't risk your pride & joy by hooning

  • I rate this 5 star coz a comment from Lazyassasian

Thanks i capture my iphone and text the pic to my mexican frjend and he was dying lmao

  • ti-c is super loud. trust me. if you can get your hands on a universal just yell in the muffler. it doesnt muffle at all.

  • revving a cold engine is a no no

  • absolutely love the heat treated tips.....but these cars lose power (like less than 5) with bolt ons.....the ap1's. but i wouldnt mind gettin something for mine....but the payments and insurance come first!

  • they look bad for days. ever think of putting a quad setup. i havent seen any s2k's with quads

  • nice, sweet, not too loud soud ;)

  • is this a good exhaust to put on an s2k

  • The exhaust alone wont really do shit on the S2k..BUT..if you get headers, free flow cat PLUS the catback exhaust, expect 15whp.

  • no its bad dont do it!!!!

  • the single exhaust is good for a n/a.

    dual exhaust is for turbo

  • @aimxless ehh not always man... ex: Spura, Evo's you know. Duals are for tools! haha

  • @Molinar04 sorry if i may correct myself single is better for s2's :)

  • @aimxless haha there ya go. Duals are for mustangs and vettes and what have you... tuners need just one for the sounds of sex :)

  • @puranger52 go with a J's racing exhaust for about 1,300 they are worth it. You don't need new headers you can run stock headers with an s/c. i run a password:jw oem air box and intake with a J's exhaust and cat back. just find a good clean combination but there is no need to replace the headers

  • Did you notice any power gains when you put on the exhaust?

  • Anyone know the dB rating of this exhaust with just the cat back on the S?

  • I think you got it backwards. Most scs for s2000s are centrifrugal, so it won't help with low end much. It would just increase the original power curve. Turbo if you want more torque down low.

  • lol. with any car, a turbo wont help down low unless its a wicked small turbo. there isn't enough exhaust temperature and exhaust flow at lower rpms to use the turbo.

  • Know your shit before "loling" me.

Unless you're running a huge turbo with unreasonable spool times on a s2000, you WILL get more torque vs a centrifrugal sc(which most are). Centrifrugal follows the original powerband, and since s2ks basically have no power and torque before 6k, a turbo is a better option if you want low end(relatively).

This obviously won't apply to you if you're thinking of running a retardedly huge turbo with high high boost.

  • or just keep it N/A and get some cams and itbs.

    :P

  • @hellspare I didnt think turbos made much low end power because of the time it takes them to spool up

  • @hellspare Very wrong as turbos only produce most of their power in the top end. Hence why they need to spool up before being powerful. Ex if you barely push the gas youre gonna have turbo lag. Traditional superchargers will give you instant power throughout the engines RPM's but not as much up high as a turbo would. S2k superchargers are centrifugal so basically they are belt driven turbos.

  • @inferno135 your wrong. maybe something like an old school t3/to4 would be laggy on a 2 liter engine. but a properly sized modern turbo will spool quickly. esp if its twin scroll or BB. superchargers are belt driven. every s2000 kit ive seen is a centrifugal. so at low rpm its going to be spinning pretty slow. slow spinning compressor=no/low boost. hence no/low torque at low rpm. p.s. if your worried about torque then grow a mullet and buy a moostang. torque is not what the s2000 was made for.

  • @jsmorel86 I'm afraid you're the one who is wrong as you just proved my point. Yes they only produce power at top end. Hence why youll have not that much power in the low end. No matter what you say or believe, centrifugal or not, unless you have a small turbo you wont have instant power comparable to the SC. Modern or not. You obviously know very little in this subject so I would suggest you just stop making yourself look like an idiot. Look at some dynos of SC and turbos. And FYI torque=power.

  • dammm dual exhaust = twice the price of one.

  • The exhaust in the video sounds good, looks good and isn't to obnoxious. But it is still fun to pick on you city punks. But the ten color beat up honda with the autozone special performance parts needs to go to the dump.

  • why all people has the solution like um okay let's turbocharge it and ok we rawk...turbo isn't the best solution to have power..lol! i prefer a Honda S2k 350HP not turbo than a BMW 400HP + Turbo.. Honda + Turbo = Sucks, V-Tech is the key. Peace..

  • get those cats off there and then youll actually have some noise dude

  • FAIL. ANYONE who knows anything DOES NOT rev an engine thats just started and COLD. Not the best choice.

  • Speak english moron. I had no idea what you just said!

  • FAIL #2. You dont know that he didnt have it running before.. Think before you speak.

  • I bet if you hold it on the floor for five or ten minites you might gain one or two horsepower. lol

  • lol was that a ricer joke? shit was funny. But S2000's are actually classy cars. Not your typical econobox with a muffler like a Corolla S.

  • Yea thier not bad lookin cars But I tend to go for somthing with a larger displacement Like say 444 c.i. maybe turbocharged, intercooled, and direct injected. Now we're talkin POWER! Everyone's entitled to like whatever kind of car they want but I cant help but laugh at the 16 year old punk that passes me on the highway in a civic with a fart cannon. Then I step on it and blow his doors off without down shifting, the look on his face is priceless when he see's he cant hang with a pickup truck.

  • Yeah, lol, the 16 year olds in the 10 year old civics with the fart cans on the back are hillarious. Yeah... the "ricer fly-by" sucks. I know a lot of cars that can't hang with a pickup truck like for example the Ford Lightining.

  • I was actually thinking of something a little heavyer and Longer lasting like a powerstroke diesel. I bet it hurts thier poor little feelings to get their doors blown off by a truck that weighs three times what thier little shoe box does.

  • i have a "fart can" type exhaust....mind you its a Greddy ti-c, with a corksport dp, su test pipe...oh and a cobb fmic, hks sri, turbosmart dual port bov, and cobb access port at stage 2+, but i hate the "ricer-fly-bye" as well. turbo diesels are quick for trucks though...not bad at all.

  • Ok don't get all bent out of shape from one car guy to another I like a nice looking car as well as the next guy. But I see so manny kids that have absolutly no clue what they are doing. Buy the latest thing to come to the local auto store and put it on and use a hammer and a hacksaw as their primary tools. They have no concept of airflow whatsoever.

  • lol, i know...i was just playing around with you...but rice is the worst rep ever, i agree!

  • define fart can, they do make greddy ti-c exhaust for civic's too if you're talking about ignorant teens who drive civics with kragen mufflers, that sounds better, because teens cant afford that exhaust on their own unless they are hookers or drug dealing gang bangers.

  • lol i could care less for a highway pass. i wonder whats so thrilling about a "BWAAAAAAA" on the freeway unless its a joke.

i downshifted on a mexican driving a civic w/ altezzas, big aluminum spoiler and 2 kragen looking truck pipes

this isn't directed at anyone but truck ppl do massive flybys too w/ flow masters n shit...

they cant do autocross or they'd flip when they think they are hard on the straight

  • CMON REV IT!!!!

  • mayby more layter

  • Please remove the silencers, it will sound so much better

  • How much would you be looking at too buy one of these?

  • Beautiful High quality exhaust.. LOVE IT... doesnt sound ghetto either. GReddy sure does make a great product. Do you feel any power difference or is it just sound>?

  • axle back?? cat back?? suggestion....... put a invidia test pipe and watch ur motor scream with more power and lots more sound, gr8 exhaust

  • is this with or without the silencers?

  • cold engine = fail :p no dude just kidding i don't mind on those things i love that sound and people who begin over a car mostly have no life :p

  • Nice. Sounds like you started it on a cold engine (because the idle changed), so maybe comment #2 won't be someone like "Cold engine = fail b/c it sounds different" lol... those people are hard to please. It still sounds good haha.
