I'm searching for a commercial, I can't remember is about Sprite or Mountain Dew, but is about an UGLY guy who starts to drink another soda and he becames himself cute and cuter, until after 3 or 4 pop cans he s transformed like the cutiest hunk. Suddenly, he had to pee and when he's in the toilet and does his thing... voilà! he's ugly again. My mom really liked the commercial and cried for laughing at that, but I can't find it. There is a night scene that is actually filmed under the trees at Nielson park in Sydneys East..

The vision in this ad was shot in Australia (note the 1980s Australian telephone booth). The song and the graphics were re-done for this American version. The original Australian ad was part of the "You can't beat the feeling" campaign of 1988-1989. I must say the song was a lot better in the Australian original. Coke is it!

just because the ad only has white people in it dont mean its racist. It was a different time then you did not have to put ever race under the sun in adverts to be pc. This ad is american and 85% of the country is white so its not racist to just show the majority. In britain where this version of the ad was shown its 95% white so it shows the majority even more. Its like going to Japan and being offended because you see no westerns in the adverts.
