I think the guy you were thinking of is the guy from qfg 2. The small man with the beard in the desert next to that pond... Thought i would point that out.
The other thing I noticed was that I NEVER would've been able to beat this when I was a kid. It sucks now because I can't play an old game on my new computer without that dos box thingy.
I think your videos are really good, but why do you both say goodbye everytime? Is it because you don't do multiple videos in the same day? It gets a little annoying.
You and Hercrabbiness do a good job with the voices, but Boris' voice in the talkie version of the game is the best. Whenever I play this game I just sit and talk to him all day.
I don't know if someone's already mentioned this, and you've probably already noticed this LateBlt, but Boris Stovich the gatekeeper was obviously modeled after famous movie star and horror icon Boris Karloff.
These types of games would massively fail if the devs were lazy. So many connections would be laziness/coincidence. Like being friendly in saying goodbye would just be uncreative writing :P

@IStraightDoinYourMom Just for consistency and the appearance of courtesy, I suppose. :)

It's almost like the first conversation with Boris is written with the possibility of meeting him before ever reaching town.
Sometimes I forget you guys were doing the voice acting. Good work.

I always found it hilarious that Olga was more disheartened by the walk to the cemetary than your own actual death.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it before, and I honestly didn't know that... So thanks for pointing it out. :)

I think this was the most annoying part of the game for me (other than crossing the swamp "the old fashioned way").
I mean, had Boris and Olga not heard of mail? Or the internet?
Oh, wait.

"...he's so gentlemanly and wise he might actually know what I mean and he might get offended..."
Priceless!

Perhaps the word you are looking for when talking about Boris's sayings is adage. Probably a more commonly known synonym would be proverbs.

"Adage" is a good word... It was probably the word I was trying to think of at the time. Thank you! :)
