This show opens with this homely old guy sitting on his bed without the mask on, and sitting with him is a girl named "Lisa" who might be a prostiute in real life. It cuts to Lisa standing at the front door. He stabs her once and she slips to the floor and dies. The it cuts to a picture on the wall. And its this guy with the mask on standing in front of the front and door and lights a cigarette and smokes it with the mask on.
MNN's worst contribution to their VHS & mini-dvd playback operations in 2000 was called TILTRAC, an analog juke box video machine that had capabilities for only 1 channel in a mom-and-pop public access fascility. Because it was a proto-type, TILTRAC had not gone through the "error process" either. TILTRAC is actually rigged & held together with actual - quote: "electrical tape" & "paper clips" to carry, not 1 channel as designed, but all 4 MNN channels.
TILTRAC was basically a malfunctioning floor model that had been toured around conventions for prospective buyers throughout mid-west America, Texas, Boston. TILTRAC also carried an inflated price that would prove MNN's undoing & set the tone for the next 8 years. Money was divided under the table between MNN & TILTRAC.
MNN doesn't have the budget to upgrade & compete with their current Master Control operations. Playback operators are forced to operate a malfunctioning playback machine.
Exactly. TILTRAC company was selling these "video juke boxes" really only had 1. They were hoping that industrious buyers would mass produce them on a small scale.
But there were no takers.
So TILTRAC sold off a lemon to the city slickers from NY. The Age of Digital Techology is light years ahead of outdated analog. TV networks use Digtal Servers. You have to download programs 24 ahead of schedule & manage Live TV. MNN was not up-to-date or proficient with the times & were sold a lemon.
Funny? You aint heard nuthin yet. When your vhs or mini dv is handed into MNNs facility, a playback operator physically takes your tape & puts it into a video juke box that (at the scheduled date & time) a robot arm takes the tape & inserts it into the respective Video Tape Player.
Now Imagine the robot arm taking & crushing your tape then start Ramming! the broken tape into the vtp slot over & over & over again, then go into "Error".
Think of the number of programs wasted & destroyed.
God this horrendous access show airs weekly on MNN. It aired tonight! Its a filler tapethat makes the rounds on MNN empty channels. And its weird and plotless which is the staple of public access madness. the guy must be a schizophrenic.

Wow you're well informed. :)
What do you mean by "error process" though: do you mean some sort of quality control for the TILTRAC piece of machinery before leaving a factory?

Dear Lord, why would THIS be chosen as a repetitive video?! Amazing. I've always sorta feared that the guy would find this posting and stalk me.
