one of my favourite guitar solo's at the end of this song, completely under-rated though, even by Primus fans. some of the strangest guitar playing i've ever heard. it's like the whole song turns on a dime when the dragged bass chords appear at 3:07 and proceeds to go to an even zanier and more deranged place than before.
Can still remember the first time hearing this song. I was feeling rattled from the dark ending of "My name is mud" only to be totally jarred by the monstrous bassline of DMV.
people who say primus sucks dont understand.they want there music to be weird with crazy lyrics tht dont make sense.frank zappa did the same,he was a musical genius but made funny lyrics cuz he didnt take himself seriously and he was a funny guy
