@shrugo12 - it has a lot to do with the instruments I assigned to the parts (drums, piano, etc), the musical scale chosen and the complexity of the rhythmic ratios. Even though the fractal program generates random music, it does so within the limits set by the user. I'm glad you made that association - that's exactly what I was aiming at!

@recuerdo000 I used a program called Mandel 32 - it generates a fractal image, and then a MIDI file created by a user-selected portion of the image.
