in my opinion, Winx and Sailor Moon are kind of the same....you know fighting evil, transformation, close friends and they can be girly-ish at certain times. i love them both, i cant pick one.

you're an idiot. the animator needs to be more original, that's all i'm saying. The transformation sene is way to similar. Any any bishojo genre can follow that popular plot of a magical girl, but every magical girl has an original and personal transformation. This lacks originality.
I`ve never seen those super- modern- ultra- new american transformations for new magical girls cartoons for kids, but GOD it`s so anemic comparing to O-L-D japanese productions! O_O
