See how long you can hold your heels up 12 inches off the floor for time while lying down. Anything over a couple minutes is good. Kylepounds did it for 5 minutes!

I'm guessing the problem is with your legs, not your core. You could probably be able to get those legs up to horizontal and perhaps even higher with hamstring and calf stretching.

Can you do this on the ground yet? It looks like you're having a hard time getting your feet up higher.
Nice job, I can do mine for 30 seconds without a warm up (just tried XD)... then I just gave up XD
