@douglasduncan100 that movie was surreal to me. I hated the elevator scene with the body parts falling down on the janitor. Yuck. That movie made me have sleepless nights.
@rsvy913688 ive found the film on here gonna watch it tonight and yes some parts made me cringe lol i first watched it cause the actress in it is also in a nightmare on elm st 3 dream warriors another great horror of its time :)
Ahhh... what can ya listen to after THIS?! Hit replay!! @YeagerP51 heard it said if you can't remember the 60s you WERE there! @bamnibaum smile hello hug glad you came back home & stayed... you are our heroes & we stole your stash! ;)
Incredible song. I heard this played on a local high school radio station this week and had to look it up on YT. I hadn't heard the long version in like 25 years.
Lester Chambers is a good friend of mine, and am glad to say he is living here in the Bay Area and is preforming again, this time with his son Michael Dillon. Still as awesome as ever!!
Time isn't real....It's an illusion, but so is the rest of man's creation... which is constructed with the use of time, which happens at 18.5 miles a second for humans on earth. And then there's the illusion of gravity as well...
I can remember 4 or 5 of us with our steel pots on and flack jackets on, sitting ontop of a bunker passing a bowel filled with some burning Con Sai and getting very, very Dinky Dow. Man I really don't know how the fuck I survived my 365 over there. It was fun at times. Still remember the faces and some of the names. Never Forget. Vietnam is here until I die.
@bamnibaum That must have been freaky with your Buddies out there 'on the wire' wondering when something was going to happening and ripped out. That was a beautiful country and I'm thinking this happened maybe around Dusk and watchin the Sun go down with this pulsing along. Far out!
Time has come today and in a gadda da vida, two songs necessary in Nam for any party. Used the Chambers Borthers to let Sir Charles we were coming to GET SOME!
Oh do I remember this from the '60's. This had a beautiful pulse for what was going on then. Better believe that the troops in "Nam" listened to this! Did this ever go down and then make a Statement at the end. Groove to the MAX!!!
I was brought here by TIME. This is the best song ever written in its TIME about TIME. TIME was important then as it is now and I need to think about the TIME I spend on this earth everyday and be grateful I still have TIME. This song speaks to me as I was psychedelicized at age14, so I live in another TIME, forever. A unique TIME to my generation, which passed on years ago. But you can't fool someone who has been psychedelicized at a young age. :) This song is so meaningfu! Thanks Chamber bros!
This song freakin rocks.....I have quite the diverse collection of music, but in my opinion this is one of the best songs EVER recorded. Peace be with you all.
man i had this tune on a random blank tape years ago, lost the fukkin tape and iv been tryin to find out who sang this for years. thats me just found it. i should give up my job as a private investigator and smoke hash more.
@PawneeBill47 Homefront is a videogame based on a fictional story of a Korean invasion of America in the year 2025. Yes, in it, the U.S. marines launch an assault on the occupied Golden Gate Bridge. It's a rather different and epic story written by the same guy who wrote Red dawn. John Milius I believe his name is?
@70bluestar That is amazing. I am 26, and always wonder what people of your generation feel like hearing these songs. I have a lot of respect for you veterans :)
Justin Beiber (yeah yeah, another anti-Beiber comment; get over it) disliked this video for the simple purpose to try to show the World autotune teeny-bopper shit is the future...

They were at the Aug 1968 New York Rock Festival one year before Woodstock as the 2nd act with Janice Joplin & Big Brother and the Holding Company 3rd act then Jimi Hendrix.
