Pippen is one of the few players in league history that could play 4 positions on the court. He did EVERYTHING with expertise. For the last 3-peat run he was pretty much equal to Jordan. They knew they're role and they were perfect together.

And on the outside with hand checking allowed, they can't back down ppl or spin away easily like today. Anyone who doubts Pippen's playing ability is just saying that to make some other irrelevant point. Pippen is one of the best perimeter defenders of all time. Not to mention a very good offensive player as well. To debate someone's skill level solely on statistics or a single play is pretty ridiculous.
