Clever and cute. Too clever for me. I never did get the sexual innuendo. Roller skates did come with keys for adjustment. Always liked her lyrics, though.
I used to sing this song to my 45 record....with a hairbrush in my hand as a microphone when I was a young teen! lol....Great song! She is a true artist! Candles in the Rain/Lay Down is my all time fav of hers!

Thanks for posting this!! When this song came out I was about 17 or 18 with a very popular local band in Southern California. I instantly fell in love with her and also with a very young Linda Ronstadt who was just coming into her own after the Stone Ponys (Different Drum, Long, Long, Time etc) Great times and a definitely nice journey to that part of my life. THANKS!!
