5 Simmentaler studs took part in this cattle parade, Kykso Simmentalers (Swart Broers), Kyksim (Tertius Swart) , Badsberg (Calla Botha) , Van-Imhoff (Pieter Loubser) and Stansim (Werner Stander). Simmentaler Cattle where imported to South Africa allready in 1905 by the former Orange Freestate Boer president M.T. Steyn. In the early 70`s many imports took place from Germany and Austria.
