  • nice portfolio!

What software did you use? The only ones I can say for certain are autocad and sketchup. Like the oil paintings as well :)

  • wow it's nice. I love the song, what is it?

  • Moby!!!

  • thanks

  • Was your first undergraduate portfolio really good? lol. I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm taking arts classes and photography, etc. but like what did you incorperate in your first portfolio, as opposed to this one? What should I focus on?

  • During my undergraduate program a took several math classes and also a physics class. I also took couple structures classes. I hope this helps

  • I did the undergraduate program at University of Florida. 4 years, and now I am in Graduate school also at UF. I was ok with drawings. I took some drawing classes at the community college and I think that helped me a lot. Thanks

  • i suppose you did a class in mathematics at school? or physics? in England we do A levels, whatever the equivalent is in USA plz tell me what your options were.

  • Like how much time are the drawing clases?

  • hey your porfolio is amazing! did you go straight to a professional architect school after graduating? and how were your drawing skills when you started?im a little worried im not so experienced....

  • i know this is a dumb question , but can

u please tell me how did u draw the shadow in the perspective?

or how to mainly draw shadows,,,i'm having a problem with that.....

  • it is not a dumb question, shadows are very hard too draw. You might want to do a little research and see if you can find some books on that. You can even look at art books that deal with this issue. But usually you have to decide the sun angle and create shadows base on the position of the sun. also you have to decide on different levels of shadows. Somethings are darker than others

  • thank you so much ..... :P

  • Very nice work!

How much work was done before you even started the undergraduate program?

I will soon start to make my own portfolio, as it is a requirement for BAarch program.

Also, what software did you use?

  • This is my undergraduate work. I used this portfolio to apply to graduate school at the University of Florida. I used a number of different software ex: sketch up, 3D max, cad, etc..

    Thanks

  • i love your work i have no clue in architecture but i want to major in it and they asked for a portfolio to get a scholarship, can you help me

  • Hey, Thanks

I think I can help. Just post some of your questions and I tried to answer

  • Dude your work is totally fawesome. You've actually inspired me so thank you. May I ask what program did you use and what rendering program you used? Keep up the good work. Bound to be an awesome architect.

  • Thank you!! Most of the time I use Sketch up for the 3D modeling and SU Podium for rendering. I also use 3D max for renderings. I used Final Cut to put the video together.

  • Alright Moby!!! Nice work on your portfolio. Was all of that your work? What school did you study at and what level (year) were you in? Keep it up.

  • Hey, Thanks

Yes all the material in the portfolio is my own work. Including the video itself, all animations, renderings, and design. Those were the projects that I did during my Undergraduate years at the University of Florida. I just graduated last may. Now I am starting graduate school also at UF. The professional experience is from my summer internship.
